I tell you what I very rarely hear people saying please and thank you like Derek and Catherine's to the servers and the cooks and to the people that stand there and slice the meat all day and probably have aching shoulders along with aching feet. Catherine you are a class act from beginning to end as you were the only person that I heard going through the line expressing your gratitude and have such a Grace and such a calming soothing way about you that I'm so glad for Derek that he did find you or however you guys found each other.. Derek, I'm truly sad that if you guys were dating long before you announced your engagement that we would have had the chance to share those dates with Catherine from the very beginning. I saw her hands across the table from you though long before we met her. It's amazing how Catherine has so much information on food and the knowledge of what is being presented and then the way that she says it in such a good foodie vlogger way! I just can't say it enough how much I appreciate that Catherine is now part of your life and when she comes along also has such an experienced palette with no fears ever on trying something new. Derek I'm glad that you are a meat-and-potatoes type person and will stay away from the seafood because it balances out that the people like me that absolutely hates any kind of seafood can enjoy your meat and chicken and turkey and meatballs and the side dishes that go along with it like your mashed potatoes and Italian dishes.
And this is why I LOVE Derek and Catherine's food reviews for they're very positive about the foods they taste and never very critical nor judgemental UNLIKE some food reviewers here in TH-cam whose name I'm not mentioning here....

me again, still watching, but yippy!!! i just noticed, for once, someone has great dinner music! diggin’ those older good tunes im hearing in the background, vs the hip hop and rap or dance nite club music most of them play in some youtube buffet videos that i see. so, im glad to see that these guys do it right, its a more relaxed vibe and better for eating. :-)

Derek you almost made my perfect Buffet dessert. After years of sampling different Las Vegas buffets, i stumbled upon the greatest dessert: Crepes + chocolate sauce + ice cream. It sounds too simple, but the taste is amazing!

What a awesome looking selection of food..... About £55 English Money, so yep, high end for a Buffet... however the quality on those ribs looked excellent. Certainly a place for sea food lovers, given oysters and crab are not cheap generally anyway. That plate of dessert at the end....... boy oh boy.... I think though, even if I watched in silence.... after Derek tried the ribs and the Dragon Fruit ice cream.... a cleaner was needed for ailse 7 after those foodgasms..... Lovely to see you both, have a wonderful Sunday evening.
I know Steve Wynn is a big proponent of Veganism. Would have loved to see all the vegan offerings to see if it's worth $69.99. I would have loaded up on the BBQ beef ribs and the prime rib. Another great video you two!

There seemed to be a very nice assortment of taste treats. Sid not see anything different from other offerings. But you said quality and taste were good. Nice to see more made to order stations.
Apple Butter is not applesauce. Apple Butter is usually a fall flavor used on on top of toast, scones and other bread types but also used as a topping or even a flavoring in fall meats (turkey or chicken) or baking. It's not as sweet as applesauce but goes pretty well with both sweet and savory flavors. Try it sometime!
Everyone says meats to get your money worths. But I'd rather enjoy myself and the food, I will eat any carbs i enjoy, even if I don't get my money worth
