What a great hunt!!!...Went on my first Pronghorn hunt in 2023 in New Mexico, my first big game hunt ever....And I got a beautiful buck!....Happened upon him, he stared at me forever and allowed me to take his life....Forever grateful!!
I’m a solo hunter in Colorado. No joke, when I start to get in my head out there alone I recall episodes of yours and get psyched to keep going. Thank you and keep it up. They’re stories, art, struggles, successes, and real.
I am not a fist pumping jump up and down exuberant kind of guy. Your idea of stoked is similar to mine- more in awe of the animals, landscapes and experience than huge excitement over just taking the life of such beautiful creatures.
I couldn't believe you passed on that buck the first time. He is magnificent! Looks like he broke that left hook sometime between when you first saw him and when you shot him. Too bad about that. Congratulations on a beautiful pronghorn!
I kicked myself the whole time after passing him that first time. He did end up ding a lot of fighting between the encounters I had with him and did break that one horn off. Appreciate the comment!
Excellent hunt film and something that I daydream 💭 of. I want to hunt pronghorn in as many states that I can DIY public land style no matter what weapon type gets me a tag 🏷️ the fastest. That includes the 900 archery 🏹 only hunts in Montana. I actually have a couple bonus points for both the standard pronghorn and 900 archery only hunts. Congratulations on a nice heavy mature buck there Jason. I could tell that this hunt was from 21 before you mentioned it at the end, because of the dual cam Prime Nexus and a different arrow setup.
With all.due respect I believe you admitted to breaking the law on camera. You can't have cameras up in MT when a hunting season is open. That means August 15th they have to be put up. You can't specify what species the camera is for and a season not being open for that species makes it "ok."
I appreciate you tuning in and for your concern! Here in Montana you can legally use trail cameras during hunting season as long as they are not the "cellular transmitting" type. Meaning the hunter must physically go to the camera to check it. It is only the "cellular transmitting" type that cannot be used for hunting purposes. Hope you have a great fall season!

Awesome film once again! Always looking forward to the next.
Awesome, thank you!
Great job Jason, way to stay after it. Spot and stalk antelope hunting is one of my favorites.
It is a blast!
First comment. Means you need to say hi next time you are in Sheridan... from your favorite stalker hunter lol
Next time!

I have never felt that inside although this year I admit I couldn't help myself while elk hunting.
