I have always loved this song. Honeytree’s music has always ministered to my mom and dad, and also to our family. After many years of loving this song, my dad was given the opportunity to be one of Honeytree’s guitarists. All this to say…my mom went home to be with the Lord this morning. It was heartbreaking, but as she was passing to eternity, my dad played this song (Honeytree’s version) as we watching her pass into eternity with Jesus. This song was so appropriate because this was my mom’s life, in everything she did. I was looking up the song tonight and saw this version, which I also love. To God be the glory! We will miss her.❤️
WOW!! First time I heard this song, Dutch Sheets spoke of this song and how it made him cry, for how touched he was by the lyrics so I googled it and I, too, wept. Great song, awesome and anointed singer. Will be on my lists of favorites . Both writer of song and singer have been truly blessed by God and us who have heard this. GOD Is good and His timing perfect! ☝️✝️❤️
We Are The Sons of YHVH....and We Are Seated in Heavenly Places Far above All Principalities , Powers of darkness, Spiritual Wicked in High places.....The Whole Earth is in Travail waiting for Us to Be Made Manifest ......to Remember Who We Are in Him!!! 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Thank you Rick for doing your take on Nancy Honeytree's 'PIONEER'. That's been our song ever since it came out and our life for 48 years now. Long story!
This song is so very anointed! It's so powerful that it causes me to ball my eyes out like a baby! Jesus is my ultimate Pioneer...and all of the turmoil, disappoinrment, pain and lonliness is all worth it once you realize that God has called you to blaze a new trail as a pioneer for His kingdom...so so good!!! (Dottie)
This song feels like it is for my sister and me. Our parents were pioneers in Alaska. Before that our grandparents pioneered the West in the natural. Now we are pioneers in the spiritual realm. This is our song!
Thank you - it's a word I had many years ago 'Pioneer" and had lost it. Blessed to hear it today, linked from the Canberra Declaration prayer newsletter.
Says this video made 5 years ago. Well it is much more RELEVANT today 2021 as The Father's PIONEERS blaze a trail in this NEW ERA. We havn't been THIS WAY before. Wonderful anointed melody and lyrics that resonate and touch the hearts of the PIONEERS coming up NOW out of the wilderness, where they have been alone and trained by the Holy Spirit ... (LEANING on their BELOVED), to..."Steer the Ships" assigned them.
I really didn't think i could love this song any more then I have for so many years.... But today... hearing it in Rick's worship for the first time....i wept. Timing...
I am listening to this very “Paul, Apostle” -like song tonight as I read the Deb Runge book “Recover Your Mission: How a Drunk from Wisconsin became a Missionary in Haiti.” -She ends each chapter with song. This song recommendation ends Chapter 16, “You’re a Pioneer and a Wilderness Pathway Waits for You” - lots of truth here! Those who follow will do better - even Jesus told us we’d exceed what he did amazingly … and your employees often do better than the founder
Jesus is that John I am hearing a voice in the wilderness calling your children angels home if ye have an ear to hear come home turn it up to see the kingdom of God and the Truth and Jesus is the Truth. Thank you Jesus your merciful kindness endureth forever
Yes! It is confusing! Subculture creatures sure like center stage in churches yet they seldom care to come right out and show which side they are on as that would ruin every thing for them. Thus they keep ruining everything for Jesus and the truly devout. Why are church folk such fools!
Not confusing at all really. It is a song for people who are exploring new territory in the Lord without copy catting what has already been done. They are not afraid to use their creativity in the Lord to try something different which others may later improve upon.
Its for only those who want to take the road less traveled..to go to place where no one in your family or bloodline has gone before with God and his kingdom by hearing his voice and walking by faith into greater
I think of the demon-possessed man Jesus healed in Mark 5. Jesus sends him out, commanding him "to go" and share what he had witnessed. I wonder about what may have become of that "Pioneer". Did he live to grow old? Or, did he too meet the same fate as Jesus and His disciples (Matthew 10:22)? This song is about the cost of fulfilling the Great Commission. The words of this song are clear. "GO", despite the fears, despite the cost, keep pressing on, only the Father goes before us (Luke 14:33). Read Mark 5:1-20, and listen to this song again.
This song confirmed my call. I've been an overseas missionary for nearly 17 years. I cry every time I hear it!
Me too
Praise God! Thank you for obeying the call

🥹🕊️ Beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us. I pray you and your family’s continued strength and comfort from Holy Spirit. 🙏🏽🤍🙏🏽

Ditto Sister :)
I heard Dutch Sheets reference it too. I don’t know how I had missed it but yes, it is powerful!
Good idea for me to see if I can buy this on iTunes to add to my other 450 songs - I’d never heard it until tonite - very encouraging
There used to be a video out to this song that Rick Pino had out. Wish I could find it
@@jessicastarnes1have you checked his TH-cam page?
This is Nancy Honeytree's song. It has always been blessed. Precious anointing Rick.

I AM HIS PIONEER -- HALLELUYAH!
AWESOME FATHER GOD! 💕 💕 💕
I remember this song from the Jesus Days. A woman sang it. It was beautiful then and now. Thank you. ❤
Thank you Rick for doing your take on Nancy Honeytree's 'PIONEER'. That's been our song ever since it came out and our life for 48 years now. Long story!
I received the Word from God PIONEER. Then Genesis 12, so then, I'm called to BECOME A MISSIONARY, A PIONEER.
I wonder how I am just learning of this song... but then I look at the timing of it coming into my life...and I understand :) Anointed.

This is at the top of my playlist as a church planter.

Love you Rick , your songs are so annointed by the power of the Holy Spirit
Yes, this is a wonderful, anointed song, written by Nancy Honeytree.
Wow! Thank you Jesus! His voice is so beautiful.
This song is so touching. I was just feeling so let down and discouraged and this totally reminded me of my calling in life.
Perfect... stand strong and faithful to Jesus!
Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😊glory !!!!!!!!!!!!
I really didn't think i could love this song any more then I have for so many years.... But today... hearing it in Rick's worship for the first time....i wept. Timing...
Great worship leader God bless you my friend
Where He leads I will follow....I will not be afraid for I know His love for me will sustain me. I am safe in His arms.
Such a powerful song! So anointed it shook me as the Lord lead me to listen! So very glad I obeyed ♥️
Thanks Dutch for this. I needed to hear this today. What a discovery. Great song. God Bless you Rick and Dutch.
So much truth - Paul said he didn’t want to plant where others had been
Lord i love you and I ask to help me build your kingdom
Thanks for honoring the oldies!!

BEST SONG EVER - Carmella
To all the #Pioneerwomen not just the ones that buy the pots and pans 😅 this song is super prophetic 💖
I’m marked! 🙌🏾

Love!
Beautiful
Awesome 🙏🙏🙏
Hallelujah
Thanks for this.
Sweet! So appreciate this old Honeytree song.
This song could have been definitely sung to and for the early church!
Should still be sung. We are pioneering in India.
🔥🔥😭😭
Keep pressing onward. You can’t stay here.
I am the voice of one shouting in the wilderness: “Make a straight path for the Lord to travel.”
Is that Nancy Honey tree on the front row at 3:28?
😭😭😭
Yes. I am a pioneer. I know many pioneers.
Worship is like Glee for Christians private school. IMO Pino Pride
Nader Oval
🥲🥲🥲🥲
Confused. Is it a song for God or for us?
The Father is singing over us! ☺️
What an incredibly anointed voice!

This is not as good as “you spin me right round” this guy…
