Interesting, I was taking my nieces downtown NYC, Trinity Church where Robert Emmet is memorialized, also William James MacNeven (inscriptions in Irish English his grave) - they even had never heard of Emmet...
In the heart if Ireland, Irish people singing Irish songs in the best weather of the year, absolutely brilliant and refreshing, more of this for next year please.
I've never seen so much lrish,es with the youth, and so proud of their culture at ep long may it last, a great performance from the Wolfe tones, well done, vye had the youth in the palm of your hands, well done x
Just looking at the wolfe tones it's brilliant to see the youth of Ireland in full voice off our culture and national pride great to see it will never die wolfe tones and irish ballads and irish folk will be hear for generations Eirn go bragh ❤
Agree about the tears, proud of Irelands younger generations but nationalism? The song tells a story about the struggles of the nation in past times. Today, Ireland is an open and inclusive country, what a true republic should be. I believe the patriots sung about in the song would be proud it they could see it. Nationalism today can be skewed by populists who are defensive and inward looking not republicans in the truest sense.
@@peterkenny7810listen good and well you shoneen fuck they were nationalists, ethnonationalist don't you dare try a rewrite history. Sick of you liberal and Marxist scumbags!

I think you need to learn our history is not just the 1900's and living with anger and revenge and spite in 2023 only destroys and chains the soul. Ireland is much more than those times. Cheers

And if you know your history.. our songs have always recorded it, and the Irish diaspora & younger generations know it too! (Oh and maybe lighten up pal, it's only joining in on the song 😉😂) Great craic, wish I'd been there! 💚
