I apprecaite the kind words Calum! This channel will be around for a long time I hope so would be an honour to have you along with me on the journey! Hope to see you on track again soon and who knows next video we might have a wheel to wheel battle for once! :)
Good stuff man! Couldn't agree more. Yes, the events of the weekend were an absolute disaster and looks really bad but, for me, nothing offers the same 'feeling' like rf2 has done. I'm pretty new to rf2 having been on acc and a little iracing for a while and once I got everything set up (wasn't too bad and I'm not that tech savy) it's ran flawlessly. So I won't be uninstalling. Appreciate your work to attract more people onto rf2 and lfm. Cheers!
Im glad we feel the same way Gar. Max's comments are good because maybe it will prompt MSG to really look into the back end of the game and start funding or developing it further, but personally for the average player the game is great fun right now even after VLMS
There was a lot of good on display at the LMVS as well but as always the bad overshadows the good. The graphics were amazing. The new cinematic camera angles and close racing esports drivers without issue with invisible netcode. Even track progression as the track got rubbered in during the event looked very good and believable.
Very sensible opinion. All these big time organisations and car manufacturers and drivers should start supporting the few options we have. Max has the power to break them down, the only thing he achieves is breaking down one of those few options we have. Think about it.
I don't really understand Eric, Yes Max can break companies down and highlight issues for them, but what I am trying to say in my video that just because the game didn't work for Max and the others taking part in VLMS we shouldn't just blacklist it, yes the issues need to be highlighted so him speaking up hopefully shows these issues, but moving to a platform will just cause the same thing, I'm sure Max will act the same way if he got netcoded in iRacing and his race was ended
@@Sloshy We agree totally. Blacklisting is the last thing I will do, and the last thing every simracer with a proper set of brains should do. And hopefully this event and the rant of MV will have a positive outcome for our hobby. This event highlighted the complexity and especially the need to invest in our platforms, without those we will go backwards instead of forward.
YES! I always forget the Open Wheel series just because I've fallen out of Formula driving but it also does it VERY WELL too! Thanks so much for the sub too :)!
Finaly somone who uses the stuff between his ears. And I don't mean your nose. That said, LFM, rF2 as a solid platform that has something to offer but still needs work like everything else out there and MSG obtaining those licences doesn't float well with the majority of users on a certain other platform who have allready invested into that other platform. And even if you rub it under their nose that you can try LFM for free and that they still will be able to race 24 hour races and 500 mile races on their favorite platform, they won't understand it. Such is life ...
Thanks for your kind words! I understand people will be invested into their platforms but we should be helping simracing develop together rather than pushing one sim down and trying to lift another, let's be honest all sims have their own unique flaws, unfortunately rFactor2's was on display for the world to see over the weekend, we just need more videos highlighting the GOOD side of rF2 because it does exist!
Really nice balanced view, congrats on the 1K Subs too, I can see this channel going far for sure!

Kudos for sharing an alternative view. See you on LFM someday.
Thanks Barry, Hope to see you on LFM too! I'll be there

Im still going to stand behind rFactor2 as I am really enjoying the racing on the available series' currently!

Subbed. You forgot the OPEN WHEEL series on LFM. Just sayin' 😉. rF2 says yep, I can do that too.
