This car is powered by a 2198 cc engine which is available with a Manual transmission. The 2198 cc engine puts out 182.38bhp@3500rpm of power and 420Nm@1600-2800rpm of torque.

I see ur confidence when u took a picture at 200kmph with ur other hand putting others at fatal risk🙂. Yes, the suv is stable, but that can't be encouraged
Here people are arguing that my car also reaches at 200 KMPH.... even Maruti's 1.3 multijet diesel engine can also reach 200 mark. But the point is how long in terms of timings to keep your car running at 200 KMPH mark? High speed stability, driving dynamics and suspension set-up matters a lot my dear people. i20 or new creta can also reach up to 190 or even higher mark, but you will never have confidence to maintain these tin cans at high speeds. High speed dynamics are great in XUV 7OO. You cannot even feel that you're riding at 150 KMPH mark unless you notify it in speedometer.
Acceleration is not imp. Try stopping from 180 kmph to standstill & try changing quick lanes. That's the real test of ability. Then engineering is put into test.

The car is pretty much manoeuvrable at 180+ Kmph and have tried to show that too.
Also did a brake test at 180+ & found the all 4 disc brake setup to do the job quite well, for sure nothing like a brembo or anything of that cadre.
The car doesn’t nose dive and the steering doesn’t tend to make the car wobble on hard braking scenario.
I did the brake test around 180 and just had one hand on the steering wheel, even then I never felt the car going out of control or anything.

After 6 th Gear you forgot to put Xuv700 in R gear which put it into RACING mode which will easily give you 250+ KM/Hr

You have driven Creta diesel @ 200 as well. Between the two which car reached faster in the double ton mark. In terms of lane changing, breaking ability & high speed turns which felt better & secondly was the difference quire substantial..

Hey there
In my opinion Xuv feels more planted than Creta at those speeds.
Also since my Creta has just 2 discs in the front whereas Xuv700 has all 4 discs so it brakes much better.
Lane change I feel is easier with the Creta because of lesser body roll.
The difference is not day and night but both have their good and bad. Hyundai provides a smoother driving experience and better NVH levels than Mahindra any day.
Sudden Lane change is not possible in any of these vehicles at those speeds but yea the cars are manueverable and you can do steer both the cars even after 200+ kmph just not “suddenly”.
Xuv 700 feels more planted mostly because of the independent rear suspension unlike the Creta and bigger tyres and added electronics too.
Although Creta is much more refined even when you try to red-line it from the first gear where as the Xuv doesn’t like to be redlined in the first three gears after which it just pulls fine because of the torque of the diesel engine.

Secondly in the Creta diesel while driving @ such high speeds with two passengers on board what's the safe & permissible tyre pressure to be maintained in psi.
I have a habit of checking the tpms frequently on a hot day @ such high speeds
Is it ok if it goes at times to 36 or 37 psi or should we stop & deflate to about 33 or 35 psi

The top speed of xuv 700 is 205km but he should give more power to accelerater. See the videos what is the top speed of this car.
How did it go 205 when it was struggling to go further than 194 kmph
Changing to Custom mode for engine power and pulling in 6th gear from low speeds instead of upshifting when the rev limiter cuts off as it is in the first run.

I have my mother own car Ford fiesta 2010 model 1.6 duratec EXI petrol variant manual transmission I started this car to drive one year ago in that my top speed was 130kmph in MUMBAI-PUNE Expressway with my family and I now my target is to reach more than 150kmph speed. If I get chance to reach then I will know that I am capable to reach in this speed with body roll stable of the car.

On long stretch of open highways I have been able to achieve 20-22 kmpl using cruise control.
Also in heavy bumper to bumper traffic it can go down to 8-10 kmpl.

Bhai here it is about the aerodynamics which are more favourable in case of a sedan as compared to any SUV type vehicle.
SUVs have a higher center of gravity and are more top-heavy when compared to sedans.

200 above was guaranteed. Even xuv500(facelift) touched slightly above 200. I think 700 can go till 208 210 if tried long enough
No bro I don’t think the Mhawk diesel has anything left bCz I was on full throttle for more than 10-15 mins but it just refused to go any further.
The petrol might yes go a slight further because of the extra 15 bhp in the mStallion petrol.
And for top speed runs bhp is what will help the car keep going.
Diesel will be quicker till a certain point but in terms of top speed my experience says petrol will always do more. :)
Xuv 500 will roll like a pig if you drove beyond 160kmph for even 1 minute.

2012 model xuv500 was stable at 220 even after 2,10,000 kms

What was 0-100 in your best case? And any suspension noise at that speed?
0-100 comes upp under 10 seconds.
Also suspension noise is only on bad roads not on highways and expressways!

193 should be accurate. 205 was achieved since the road was bit slope
Bit of slope won’t make such a big difference of 12km/h.
It’s because of the custom mode and not shifting at the rev limiter, rather pulling in 6th gear from 120+

But how many times are we doing these runs. My diesel MT mileage in city is in single digits, I can just imagine what it would be for petrol owners out there.

@@livingunbuttoned761 Let me tell you my petrol MT gives me around 8-9 in city in bumper to bumper it gives 7 kmpl. Highway with proper gear shift believe it or not i have got 16kmpl from Madurai to chennai.

What was the RPM at that speed? And upto 150?
Revolutions per minute is dependent on which gear you are and usually when I’m driving I’m looking at the road not the rpm’s!

If you understood physics, aerodynamics, and concepts of downforce you probably won’t have posted this comment, but since you have let me enlighten you with some facts that Crüze being a Sedan and Carrie’s more downforce with a quiet capable engine and lesser body weight for the engine to pull will surely make it reach those speeds more quickly.
What about bad roads where the Cruze will be eating 700’s dust !

Moreover lower ground clearance equals to lower aerodynamic coefficient of drag which is why most sedans will be faster.
They are fighting with lesser amount of air going underneath the car as compared to SUV’s !

Very stable drive , about engine sound yes any of this segment cars when pulled at those speeds and maximum rpm’s for some time will start to scream but I guess you can’t feel that inside the cabin..
