Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 6nm processor with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
The Vivo Y28s and Vivo Y28e pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The chipset is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is further expandable up to 1TB. The new Y-series phones run on Android 14 OS Funtouch OS 14.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y28s features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary sensor. We get an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. On the other hand, the Vivo Y28e has a 13MP primary camera and a secondary lens. We get a 5MP shooter on the front for selfies.
The Vivo Y28s gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Both phones are equipped with an IP64 dust and water-resistant rating.
Vivo Y28s price in India starts at Rs 13,999, while the Vivo Y28e has a starting price of Rs 10,999.

The Y28s comes in Vintage Red and Twinkling Purple, while the Y28e ships in Vintage Red and Breeze Green colours.
