Thank you so much. I appreciate you using a pen to point to the parts of the flower. Also, great angle on deadheading. I am a beginner to plant care and I’m a visual learner, so your video is very helpful 😊
You are very welcome, Saff. If you are in the UK or USA, you may still be able to buy some of these years' lily bulbs for summer flowering - although they may be a bit on the dry side now. Saying that, I still have one bag of tree lilie bulbs waiting to go in. I'm glad the video was of use to you. Kind regards, Simon
In the southern part of the US during the summer gets really hot between 90-100° without a doubt. Not sure if that’s the best condition to grow lilies. I do have a huge issue with snails. Will they ruin my plant? If so any tips on how to keep them away.
This was the video I was looking for! I Bought one of these flowers like 3 weeks ago it was alright until a few days ago since this is my first time owning one of these i was confused how to care for it, I cut the where ovum but it started to dry up (Turning brown) I just want to make sure if I have to cut the whole stem or just where the ovum is. Once again thank you and amazing video.
Hi there, you have done nothing wrong. Oriental lilies will flower all summer until the autumn as a group. However, one oriental lily will not repeat flower, so you would need multiple oriental lily cultivars to get blooms all summer long.Simon
That is a good question. I have had my conca d'or for about 6 years now. If they start to decline, lift the bulbs once the foliage dies back, separate and replant. Simon
Personally, I don't do anything. I just allow them to bulk up where they are, so I get a larger display in the spring. If you are talking about lifting and dividing them, you can do so at the end of the summer.

How many years do they live?

what about the pesticides? Glyphosate? Parkinson Alzheimer ....
Hi there. Sorry, I'm not sure what you are referencing. I don't think I talk about pesticides in this video.
Way too much waffle! Skip to 4.34 and thank me later
I watched it from 4.34 the realised I missed out on loads of decent information! Thanks for your opinion. Kind regards, Simon
