And Mauga. Mauga is just so boring... I'm a Hog frequenter, and I'll admit he should never be meta because he's low skill. But Orisa and Mauga are even lower skill AND they're boring to play. Especially Mauga. They have no business being anywhere close to meta, yet here we are.

When Flats mentioned the team Avoided at the beginning, they turned into Aww Yeah. It still has many of the same people on the team. Chazm, the ball player, was a ball one trick on Avoided who literally went by the name "Ball" for a while.
My guy was talking about avoided like Kayzer and Chazm aren't killing it on aww yeah right now

Him and blackswordz are the two best Hog one tricks. Maybe there's one in Asia I don't know of but those guys are always towards the top of the ladder

@@mattevans4377 i was more ok with tracer gengi, cause the comp sorta forces a team to play pure dive, which is so fun to both play and watch. Tracer echo was iffy, but tracer sojurn i just despise. The comp gets to do whatever you want it to be. Wanna be more brawly? Go orisa + moira. You wanna be a bit more dive? Run lucio kiri, and a tank with some mobility (since soj’s slide and range lets her basically be a dive hero if you wanted). You wanna bunker up/ poke? Tracer weirdly has the range to do it/ can break bunkers, so run an orisa + bap + kiri. The dps core is so flexible, it just lets you slot it into wherever you want it to be slotted into.

@@mattevans4377 very true. I agree there. I also wanna see soj nerfed into the ground. She has never been bad in ow2, just maybe not hard meta at times (but has been hard meta a few times and no one had fun)

Literally this team comp was *"Look over here."* Hog and Bastion were the distraction, because if you took your eyes off them you got mowed down. That let Moira and Tracer constantly take either flank. Lucio stuck with the distractions to get them around them map faster.
Actually the most entertaining OWCS I've seen yet.

I’m pretty sure vice was the team, in which their coach publicly flamed them on Twitter because they “had to counterswap to win” please correct me if I’m mistaken, I think sloth was the one player that tweeted discord dms between theirs and a different coach

@@michaelj49 It was. They refused to nerf Tracer, so added a hero that countered her instead. Problem was, to counter Tracer, also meant countering the rest of the characters too

I tell people that and my team gets mad at me because I'm not protecting them as doom in getting kills and taking space I'm able to sometimes save my team but that's if you position your self so I can easily help you
@@ballisticbullet428 Yeah I’m guessing you’re in low rank (below master) and what ppl don’t understand is that even though you could swap they could also adapt to you and output a team play to make your pick work. Ppl are just dumb overall. When it gets to something more complex than shooting what you see you loose 80% of them already 😂
I think one tricking in overwatch is gigabased, out skilling the counter is 10x more satisfying than switching off.
i absolutely love teams like this. i get bored watching the same team comp over and over. this makes it really exciting. i think they should implement a competitive tournament with 5v5 random heroes retaining the 1-2-2 format. it would make games really interesting seeing how high skill players adapt to what they are given. it would be more entertaining allow devs recognize balancing requirements.

@@PrimeKeroHS thats just not true of course there are always counters to what youre playing but those character pratically counter half the roster just by existing anyone like mei or sombra who take away your ability to fight back will always feel bad in an ability shooter
Honestly, while I am not too fond of one-tricks, I am glad to see some variation in OWCS... The matches feel quite dull when its always Orisa, Tracer, Soljourn, Kiri, Lucio....

Can someone explain the use of “special move” instead of “ultimate”?
My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side.
Some characters have combo's that are part of their kit. Think Roadhog's 1 shot hook combo.
@@GeoffronXit’s shotguns, his ult is nowhere near the best in the game. everything counters it. dva defense matrix, sigma rock, ana sleep, sigma can also absorb it, widow can easily headshot snipe you because you can’t really move when popping it. reaper q is really only viable in low ranks because low ranked players aren’t smart enough to look for it. anything past plat and you’re getting sat down the moment you even THINK about pressing Q.

Honestly as someone who plays roadhog (ever since ow2, I haven't just had the drive to enjoy the german man anymore...) somewhat decently, I don't like flashpoint. Other than my personal feelings of "walking simulator" and "it feels like it lasts for forever", I honestly think some points are too open and make it hard for me to make the most of hog's kit because I get poked out before I'm even close enough to get something done. The woes of a lucio player on roadhog.

I mean when you’re among the best players in the world and on a team of other top players while everyone is communicating at the highest level, it’s a lot easier to make anything 18:12 work than it would be in slightly above average ranked games where it’s basically a free for all lmao

At 14:30 KYIDK does a weird lock on Ana, very weird at 0.25x much like aimbot to be honest. A hard perfect lock-on for like 3 frames, just when left click is pressed. That is REALLY suspicious.

THATS NOT A SPECTATOR BUG! It's the God awful netcode that is now the weak crumbling backbone of the game! The game has a serious problem with late packets and packet bursting. The ping and latency is unprecedented, and the network error icons on the left are constantly shown! This game is in a bad state network-wise. Finally other people are noticing...
This is whats wrong with OW...... its not the team with the most insane, its the one that counter the hardest.... ZZzzZzzz

Hot take: every character added to OW2 has been ass with the exception of Junker Queen, Rammatra, and Venture
yes and no. i wouldnt call them ass. they are all fun in there own regard but have flawed design. kiriko: was given too much powerful utility. illari: has wonky primary healing and a overpowered dps ultimate. lifeweaver: literally a heal bot and too long cooldowns, with abilities that dont match the play style that this primary and secondary fire ask for. sojourn was a hit imo. mauga: stupid ultimate, and i dont like his hitbox or movement
@@ceene5327sojourn was the biggest miss only mauga comes close. Good in every situation youd ever put her in. Massive burst damage completely untelegraphed. Free AoE damage for building an insanely strong ult that only requires good aim. Bad positioning isnt punished because slide is one of the freest escapes ever. Shes way too strong and way too versatile for the only thing she demands from the player being aim.
@@ink3487 biggest miss is wrong. yes her kit is powerful and versatile. but i dont think heroes should be designed based with intentions of flaws and counter play, this should naturally happen as people learn about the character. the idea when designing sojourn suited her character and her abilities coordinates with her other abilities. without implementing inherently overpowered ability concepts like invulnerability or abilities like swift step. instead a piercing concept was new and interesting, along with an ultimate that utilizes an existing ability rather than random garbage like cage fight.
@@ceene5327 Life Grip is probably one of my least favorite things added in the game ever, zero way to do anything about it if the LW is miles away (which he should be) and it just feels so cheap because you can deny a kill from someone that (probably) had to aim and position themselves correctly just by pointing your face at your teammate's direction. Petal has potential at least its not as cheap as Life Grip or lame as Rejuvenating Dash and your teammates can get creative with it like that one Rein in bogur's video that used it to pin a Pharah.
