David Page at the Whitehead Institute is studying the Y chromozome -- the one that'll make a man out of you. The study of the "Y" reveals much more than maleness. It tells why only men are prone to certain diseases, and how the set number of genes on the "Y" seems to be responsible for a lot of very "male" behavior.
