Thank you! I was at World Market recently and carried around a macrame plant hanger. I decided to put it back, thinking I could surely crochet something similar. Here you are, and this is perfect! You're a great teacher.
I tried to make one of these following the pattern on the website. I messed up so many times I gave up. Then I found this video and it helped me to follow along so much easier! Thanks so much!
Thank you for such an in depth tutorial!!! I have made 2 of these, one small and one medium, and they turned out so cute!!!! Thanks again for sharing!!! Have a very blessed day!!!
I love this plant hanger so much that I have made three different sizes, and will make more!! Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial! Have a very blessed day!!!
What an excellent tutorial! Very clear and easy to understand. Thank you! Just to be clear myself- the ending was just fine- it all was. Can't wait to make!
This was such a great tutorial! Thank you so much! I was able to follow along right until the very end, making a beautiful plant pot hanger! Thank you so much! Xxxx
I loved making this! I modified the chain attachments and did a crocheted ring for the hanger, but the star of the pattern is the diamonds on the basket. Thank you for a great tutorial.
I wish the instructions would be clear at the end as they were from the start....i wasn't able to finish, totally gutted 😢 the end was rushed, sorry but you spoke and worked far too fast in the final few raws even saying that it could be overwhelming .....what a shame 🤷♀️
For those who don't want the shiny key ring and don't want to buy wood rings, I recommend just wrapping the ring with any yarn or string of your preference. It works just fine and looks great!
Just add an extra row on the bottom circle before you start the backloop double stitches. So after the row of 48 double stitches, do 2 double stitches and a double stitch increase repeating all around to get to 64 DC total. The lace pattern will be repeated two more times per row.
I'm confused about something.... In the written pattern it says I'm on row 8 but on the video it's row 7...? Its the same exact instructions but each calls it a different round.
I adore the aesthetic of hanging plants, I'd love to fill my house with them. I put my ivy plant in this and it looks great! Thanks a lot for this tutorial. 💚
Super cute! Loved doing this pattern, did the large version and I'm in love with the extended version with the lace work. Beautiful thank you for sharing!
help! I am trying to make this for my mom for mothers day but am unsure how exactly to make the larger size, would I just double or triple up every row like first row three times and so on or? Thank you in advance! love your videos!!
A few months late, but if you’d like to try. You increase the width by adding stitches each round. Start with 16 stitch. Round 2: increase in each stitch (two sc into each stitch. Round 3. Increase, single. Repeat Round 4. Inc, sc, sc. repeat. Round 5. Inc, sc, sc, sc. repeat. Round 6. Inc, sc, sc, sc, sc. repeat You esential just add more single crochets between each increase So start off with 16 single crochets
Does the ch2 ever count as a dc? I keep having an extra stitch no matter how I try. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. It keeps happening during round 3.
No, the Ch-2 will not count as a stitch. If you like, you can send a photo with your round 3 to sarah@hearthookhome.com and she can try to see what is going on...

Thanks so much for the tutorial. My string of pearls fit beautifully in the small plant hanger, in a peach colour cotton thread ❤️

i highly agree. it was way too quick and not very clear? had to scrap the entire thing.
Same here, I ended up just winging it working with what I had. Made it to 11:06 and gave up.
Click on the video go to button with cc it will give you written instructions and you can slow the video down too.

I started and ended up giving up. I agree too fast and not clear enough!! For a beginner it would be off putting!!

Great tip!
How do i make the base bigger for a bigger planter??
Just add an extra row on the bottom circle before you start the backloop double stitches. So after the row of 48 double stitches, do 2 double stitches and a double stitch increase repeating all around to get to 64 DC total. The lace pattern will be repeated two more times per row.
Thank you! Won’t be buying anymore of these now. 🙌🏻
How can we make it bigger?? which is the multiple? thank you very much, I apreciate your work!

@@HeartHookHome I'll give it another go!
That's a great little project! Thanks por posting
Have finished the first one, nice tutorial 😊
Thank you for a very nice video which I could follow easily.
Hello, thank you so much the video. Which yarn do you recomend this flower holder? Thank you
Hi! I recommend a worsted weight cotton yarn (or cotton blend). I used Dishie from WeCrochet.
Would acrylic work?@@HeartHookHome
How would I make this bigger?
Super cute. Easy pattern to follow
can someone please tell me how to make a bigger size thank you
I love this,thank you for a wonderful tutorial ❤
Really love this design! ❤
The baddest toturial in the world
How many DC for the large size? I can't find the instructions for it
Great tutorial! Thanks so much!
Thank you so so much for the Video, so happy and grateful
You are great
Do you think that macrame yarn would crochet? With a larger hook? 🤔
I don't see why not...I would definitely try it!
@@HeartHookHome I think I'll have to try it 😊💖
thank you for this tutorial!😊💗
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you! Making this!
So what do we do if we need it bigger? Like I'm stuck now cuz idk
It's in the written pattern. I believe the link is in the description box.
Would this work for a square shape pot?
So to make it bigger can I just use bigger yarn and hook?
I tried 6 times I couldn't get it right 😢
Disculpe, más despacio,la traducción y el tejido, por ahí no se alcanza a ver bien dónde picas la aguja, muy rápido!!! Gracias!!!
Toooo fast. It would help me in you decribe more slowly and accurately
Put the subtitles on and slow the video down. That will help you follow the instructions.
Love it❤
Hi Ashley!! This is an amazing pattern and tutorial. I can't wait to get started!! Where by chance did you get those pots??
Future reference, no white yarn against white background. Hard to see the stitches
It’s too hard too do for lager size
Mine keeps going up pls tell me why
Wondering if the chain 2 counts as a stitch, beautiful pattern
Hello, on the double crochet portion the ch-2 does not count. Hope this helps!
Great video but too fast even though I pause it still hard to follow but is good keep the good work
I like this but you go to fast can you slow down some
If you hit the settings on the video you can slow the speed down. I've got mine on 1/2 speed and it's a LOT easier.
It’s done too fast it was in writing 😤
Too damn hard to follow. Complicated
Maybe you just suck 🤷♀️
I need a slow version these videos are too fast 😭
Adjust your playback speed in settings. My grandson showed me this option.
This is rubbish the water from watering the plant will go on the carpet and the bottom of the crochet will stay wet
That is why you use decorative planter pots with no holes in them
Then don't make it...? 💁♀️
Or incorporate a plastic lid in the bottom to catch the water…that’s what I did, turned out great!
too fast for belgium , sorry
THIS VIDEO IS SO FRUSTRATING
