Aye dope happy you enjoyed the production, I was half n half on some of it took me out the album at points couldn’t believe i didn’t enjoy some the production. Ima huge Tip fan -T
Yeah this Q-Tip production reminds me of something Madlib would do which I think is why it is getting a lot praise for the experimental aspect. Sound great with the headcans. also seen some folks not feeling the beats so it all subjective I guess. I re listened to 30 Decembers after seeing the flowers you gave it I agree its probably the best song on the album. In fact I've gotta give more respect to LL on his delivery on this album you can feel his passion to pull off something special. After seeing too many of the legends from the golden era passing away in their 50s this is a defining moment in hip hop longevity just like when Miles Davis did for Jazz when he created Tutu in the 80s
This album waa different and unique. That's what I liked about it. For the past 15 years most artists sounded the same. From the 80s to the 90s the no artists sounded the same. I can clearly see the generation gap here. Robotic, autotune beats and artists have the same type of flow and tune.
L might have the best album right now. Bringing up Post Modern and Bisquiot Energy dont take away from what that man did on this album. Minus those two, this album was great. L and the production was great
Agree and disagree cause I’ve seen older folks (35+) say that the production on the album didn’t fit right with LL. I didn’t know people liked the mix between LL’s raps and Q’s production until this comment section, which I do respect. - Chase
Nice review.. glad to see ur doing an honest review and not dick riding like everyone elses review.. this album was a sad listen.. only like 3 or 4 songs we're dope and the rest were skips... no replay value whatsoever. Repect on ur review!
Q-Tips production made this album

Respect your opinion. Those songs including the other 2 (M*rdergram & Proclivities) that makes 4 that wasn’t for us. - Chase
I wonder how old you guys are because that definitely plays a part.......... this is by far the best album this year..........
We are around high twenties, young thirties. And I personally still have Common and Pete Rock’s Auditorium Vol. 1 as my album of the year. - Chase
@BeyondBeatsandCulture Yes I figured that much........
@@malikdavis4457people are allowed to have a different opinions bro your talking like a disappointed dad lol that’s weird man
This completely will be divided by over and under 38 years old

Man I disagree. I actually unexpectedly love this album. I had pretty low expectations
The production took me out at times . But overall I enjoyed it just I didn’t like most of the production. -T
Some preemo productions for example? Or is that a little too hard for L & the masses?
We definitely would’ve loved for LL to go over some Premo! I don’t think it would’ve been a big song that’s on radio, which is alright to me. - Chase
we needed that vibrant thing type of vibe
Who are yall tho 😂 man podcast smh lol
We are listeners speaking on our experience with the album. What’s the problem? -T
Yall guys have no credibility, too young to get it, with all due respect
What we don’t get? -T
I agree that the beats don't match his delivery.
