Maxx C is better imo. Plenty of cards now that draw 2 but none of them can end the game when its not even your turn.

Obviously the Blue Eyes White Dragon is the most powerful card which is why Pegasus had to stop printing them after making only 4 copies.
Maxx c is definitely up there for broken yugioh cards, sick opening!
Thought the card was amazing when it came out originally and still think it is a crazy card now. Especially with how much special summoning has become a staple of everything.
I believe cards get a lot, but not all of, their power from the duelist using them.
It may not be a part of a competitive archetype, but Cyber Dragon has the most "powerful" memories for me. It was the first card I chased and Cybernetic Revolution was the first set that I bought a box of.
Gotta get that Dark Magician swag haha. Pot of Greed is a big contender for most powerful card. Most annoying? Probably Mystic Mine.
I recently watched Paul from team APS do a Yugioh power 9. Pot of Greed, Delinquent Duo, painful choice, solemn judgement were there. Only 1 monster made it, surprisingly it wasn't Maxx C.

I think the most powerful yugioh card is honestly that grass looks greener. Every set that comes out just makes it stronger and stronger with more and more GY effects.

You asked if the archane magician was Edison legal. It is the cut-off for Edison is before the Shining Darkness.
Also, while Maxx C is not currently legal, people can still play it in past formats like Hat format.
For me, it will be 😂 dragonsworn used to be so good, and i still love it. Oh, and Photon Dragon 😍
Dam ita bring back good memory's lol dark mirror force I have it seen that in amin I never I got open to open these boxs specially the gold set I stop collecting . And then I start again when I was kid I did n I kept getting my cards stolen so I stop for a bit as I got older n then I starting collecting again I wish I never stop at all n some how was able to keep all of my cards n I use to watch all the yugioh shows accpet rush n season 2 yugioh link series I wish I could open one box of gold box it bring back so menny good memory's
I love all the old gold series sets and enjoy every time you open them. I may be a minority here but I don’t think Maxx C is anywhere close to the most powerful card and yes I do play MD and only put it in a deck if I have the extra room. Idk if I’d say it’s the absolute most powerful card, but super poly is an insanely powerful card that has so many different targets, quick play, and can’t be reacted to. So maybe not the #1 most powerful but I’m super poly is definitely up there.
Definitely Heavy Storm. Even when it came out, clearing your own back row has been very powerful, but also destroying your opponents back row is amazing.
I think Pot of Greed and Ash Blossom are pretty powerful cards!
Oooooo the strongest yugioh card ever is a hard question but in old school yugioh it's between 3 cards... bls ced or spirit reaper! Honorable mention chaos sorc! Strongest new card is between 3 cards as well and those are dragoon Barone or ash blossom! That's my opinion!

Max C is nice, but my og favorite was Man-eater bug, lol.
I think Exodias the strongest but looking at effects the chaos emperor dragon envoy of the end looks pretty nice.

I don't know if this is a known thing for Premium Gold but of the 15 mini packs opened, 14 of them had a Burning Abyss card in the last slot. The only exception being the Maxx C itself. Is it always like that for the set? Was kind of funny to notice.
Ruxin you gotta get your knowledge right you do too much good for the community to be struggling sometimes lol i know every set in order up til like 2011 😂 I stopped after DREV and joined back 2013 but I never forget where I came from! TeleDAD era was my prime.

Most powerful card, hmmmmmmmmmmm......idk, Exodia I guess, lol. At least i you count all of them as one. Other than that Forbidden Droplet is a really nice equalizer.

Maxx C is the perfect example of the power creep in yugioh. With how many special summons happen these days, it would definitely be the most powerful today.

Honestly Maxx C and Ash Blossom are tied in being the best cards since it's they are both necessary hand traps that can define games turn 1

It's often joked how 1/4 of a 40-card decklist will almost always have the same cards in the OCG purely dedicated to resolving/negating Maxx "C" across all different types of decks

Personally twin burst dragon is my favorite can't be destroyed in battle and destroys any card it battles and doesn't defeat
