That’s true. Although I live in Texas, so even getting up at 6am it can be super hot. I often set my alarm, run, shower and then go back to bed. Even if you have to get up early, get enough sleep.
Kh3DDy no he’s saying that a day will go by 4% faster since Nike advertises that you will run 4 percent faster, this is why you need a big brain to understand
Thanks for the videos and inspiration Nick! I used to run the 800 in high school but I was never very good. My best was only a 2:05. Your career and now your videos have inspired me to start exercising and running again. Keep up the good work!
This needed a “squishy” counter! Always can count on you to bring a unique perspective to running! And shoutout to the Mrs for letting you wear those on date night. My wife would have also put me in the other room. No way she would let me sleep in the bed. And yeah do the compare 🙌🏾
He was an Olympian over a decade ago and is now less of one of the best and closer to an “average runner”. If you look in his videos where he is racing his subscribers and high school runners, he is normally closer to the middle instead of the front.

Thanks for sharing yet another essential and practical rule for running and training "Go to bed early enough that you wake up without an alarm." thanks for the unbias review on the Alphaflys.

00:27 aren't the alphaflys we can buy different from the ones Kipchoge used? I'm pretty sure that shoe used 3 carbon plates, and the world athletics ruled that shoes may only have one solid caron plate in them, so the consumer version only has one.
I want to see you run with a Normal running shoe on one foot and an Alphafly on the other foot. Having one bouncey shoe and one not bouncey would make it hard to run. You always post crazy videos and this would definitely be a crazy video.
the more i watch your videos the more i had wished to watch you run in the olympics because when you were a running i didnt even know what the olympics were, your a huge inspiration to me, keep at it 💪🔥
I wear a 9.5 as well!!! Also, since you decided to wear your vaperflys to date night, I am gonna wear mine to prom tonight. Then I remembered something. I don't have vaperflys 🤣🤣🤣
Nick, Good job for standing up for how Black Lives Matter isn't about Black lives mattering! I'm with you! They definitely matter but the organization isn't making it about that at all.
Nick I enjoy watching your videos and your races from Olympic years. Please cut open these Alphaflys! What do you think those threads are for in the AirPods? Thanks!
hey love the videos i was at the 5k race and i absolutly loved it i hope to see u again i run with salem track club! i also saw evan gonzagas yesturday running in 85 degrees he is a great guy and runner
Nick, my feet are very blister prone in the pinky toe. Have tried many running shoes, and only Newton's Gravity 8 with the lugs can really keep the blisters from growing. Are these Vaperfly/Alphafly doing the same?
So should I buy these shoes simply to wear as casual street shoes to show I can afford expensive Sold Out shoes? How many people who wear Air Jordan actually play basketball in them?
Hi Nick! Thanks for another entertaining video. How much more is it squishy than the next % ? Cuz personally the squishiness on next % doesnt bother me at all in contrast. Perhaps we all have different sensations when it comes to that
Hey Nick. I was wondering if you had any advice for the off-season after xc leading into track. I know for summer training towards xc you want to get a good base, but what about in the winter leading into track? I run long distance during track (1 mi and 2 mi)
Was the crazy looking overpronation (on road test) from the huge heel, camera angle, or your natural stride? Regardless I could see being worried about rolling an ankle in those things on any kind of turn
Hi Nick! I was inspired by you to run a faster 800. When I started watching you my best was 3 mins, I just got a 2:39 yesterday! Are you going to Tokyo? Love to see you there
Probably some runners are more comfortable and used to cornering in them (high soft heels). Lighter weight (athletes) with big feet, and more trained ankle muscles have a big advantage. I am sure if Nick were a road runner, training in them regularly, he would be a lot more confident/efficient running in them:)
So I have a pair of these and ill admit they feel a bit odd when running. And I did get blisters just behind the ball of my big toe on the inside my arch. Mind you I only ran 5 miles.
