Hey Cani, in terms of formation, I think you might find your team to be more balanced and defensively solid if you change up the formation to something more like a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 (4). This gives you two CM's/CDM's and keeping four in the attack. This might also help in terms of keeping players happy as you have quite a few players in that cm/cdm position including Douglas Luiz who has quite a high potential. (4-3-3 (4) also gives you LW/RW instead of LM/RM which might help you utilise your pacey wingers more.

As Stuttgart have just got promoted to the German Bundesliga, I am doing them to try and get them to the club they once were and challenge Bayern Munich for the title and maybe even a Champions League win. I am currently in season 2. I finished 9th in season 1. Loving it so far!

Cani, when simulating you gotta use a line up which you’ve already played with a few times (3 or 5 I think) in order for the team to play well in matches. So if you really want to create a different team sheet just to sim then you gotta play some matches with it first for them to get “chemistry”

Cani, Hope youre doing good. I am also doing an Aston Villa career and its actually going pretty good. Im in the 4th spot after 11 games and i dont even know how i did this. Grealish and Watkins are just beasts and theyve done the work for me. I have actually bought a different left back in Ait Nouri so if you have an rtg career you can try to buy him, hes 70 rated at the beginning but hes pretty good. I have also some of ur transfers for my career so thanks for that. Cheers bro youre doing great!! keep up the good work

Hi Cani.. Just have a suggestion that maybe you can do about the formation.. I would like to suggest you use 4213 or 4231..to be honest i used 4213 formation and it help me a lot when attacking and defending..and sometimes i do use 1 CDM 1 CM and 1 CAM.. Btw i really enjoy to see your carrier with Aston Villa.. And good luck with the fans objective..

Hey Cani! I’m currently also doing a Aston Villa career mode and I’m doing great so far. I’m on my third season with players like Watkins on a 87 rating, Grealish on a 90 and Mcginn on a 87 rating. I’m third in the League right now and in the semifinals of the Champions League. Just have patience with this squad and you will have a lot of fun in the future seasons!

Hey Cani. I see that you are struggling with the midfield. A strategy that worked for me on my career mode on Fifa 20 was using midfielders that are box to box, that way they can help attacking and getting more goals and also defend when it's necesary. Let me give you some suggestions of players that are young and are on the budget and also play well in England: Ryan Gravenberch; Jaime Carreño; Ronaldo Vieira; Joe Williams. Also, I think that you should get a new defender to get more options beside Mings and Konsa. I think Eric García is not too expensive and his contract is about to expire. Also, another player that his contract is expiring in first season and is a beast defending is Benjamin Kuscevic. You should contract one of them.

Hey Cani try editing the defensive game plan in your team sheet and set the formation to 4-2-3-1 with two CDMs and Douglas Luiz coming on for either Grealish or Barkley when you want to be more defensive during a game. Also, set both CDMs' defensive instructions to stay back while attacking for that extra solidity in defense.

A good CDM to scout is Guido Rodriguez from Real Betis. He was in my team Club America and he’s a beast very good defensively and ball recovery and also has good shot from outside the box!
Hi Cani, I’m doing a Southampton career right now and currently in the start of my second season. I was really excited when u suggested that career to see how we would compare in how we run the team. Honestly I think it would’ve been a great career, I play on legendary and came third in the first season but only because of one man, the beast himself che Adams got 61 prem goals in that season!!! I scored the most goals in the league but also conceded the most haha so I am finding defending this year very hard. I think you should play in a 5 3 2 with wing backs. Then you would have more defenders and still kimda the same midfield. With a more defensiv midfielder, a engine player(maybe Mginn)and a more attacking player in grealish. Then the strikers with a creator(Watkins) and a target man(Wesley). And the defence where Engles could get a chance.
