How great it is, as a jazz violin beginner, what can I do to become a such excellent jazz performer like you? Because of listening to your minor swing in Rhythm Future Quartet , I started to learn jazz ,but it seemed much harder than I thought.😭
Listen to as much as jazz as you can, violin but also horn players and piano players. Try and pick stuff out by ear and find transcriptions like these Soundslice etudes to start picking up on phrasing, rhythm, bowings, jazz language. Work on mapping out chords and arpeggios. Learn some jazz standards. Watch youtube tutorials and seek out a teacher. Jam along to some playalongs and have fun!
Swing music slaps like few other things on this earth. I love it!

Hi, I would be interested to see what solo you would play on "The girl from Ipanema"! I'm sure you'll be as good, even better than Grappelli! 😏
What software did you use to animate the sheet music?
It's done through Soundslice.com
Are you gonna supply backing tracks with these etudes? Or else just the notations would be that fun. Fun is in playing with the backing tracks.
All the backing tracks are free on TH-cam. Search Playalong with RFQ and you will find the whole series.
@@magicfiddle thanks so much

Question. From memory?
Are you asking if I am playing this from memory? I was just improvising. The transcription came later =)
