Fabulous! I love museums like this. I am amazed at the effort that would have went into building this castle on a hill in olden times with no modern equipment. Having just finished building our own house perched on a hillside I can totally appreciate the work!

The raeson we didn't visit the Castle was also that I hurted my ancle coming down to Vianden! 😏 By the way, the youth hostel of Vianden had the worst food! 😏 ATB Kaat

Yes there is an entrance fee but it wasn't too much. Not sure how much because I don't keep track of these. But I do know it was a normal price otherwise I would remember.
