Missy Lynn 1) Moanin' - definitely number 1 duet. Utterly brilliant. No-one else could have done that song. Even Ryan was excited by it. He knew he's heard something really special 2) I Feel the Earth Move 3) Gunpowder and Lead My next two choices but this one is good too.
They complimented each other and Lauren Alaina was definately the better sinher and she encouraged Scottie when he didn't sound good and although Scottie was More mature and Had stability Lauren gave h the courage he needed back then and always Gave their Thanks to God first. Then ,Family and Fans..I wish Lauren had let People in the know help her and picked another manager.. She has the Talent and DEFINATELY the lungs.. She will get more self confident and mature when she is ready.. her fans are still here and will not go anywhere.Go Lauren Go! Do it for Yourself!

As far as Idol duets go, Moanin by Haley and Casey was insanely brilliant, and definitely the best of the lot. Gunpowder and Lead by Lauren and Haley was also very good. Lauren was really on form in that one, and probably sang better there than in her other duets.

They tended to sound too samey to me. For me Haley stole the show with her huge versatility and absolute brilliance at times that none of the others could match. I'd never even heard of American Idol until about four years ago when a pal on Facebook posted a Postmodern Jukebox number. I backtracked, found Haley and then her Idol performances, and the other contestants. So I'm a comparatively recent fan of Haley. However, I realised she was someone really special from the first moment I heard her.
