I love this song so much. It reminds me of winter time. I first heard it on a cloudy winter night where the snow was slowly falling and everyone was too cold to be outside.
One of my most vivid memories with this song was one night I was walking home, late winter, the moon was bright and reflecting off the snow. I was on a little walking trail that weaved through some trees, it looked so pretty that night.
i mean, it would fit the theme of "&" and "Turn The Lights Off" it also has that more serious tone most Good & Evil songs have, unlike the funner, less serious tone that Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum had.
Isn’t it technically part of Good and Evil at this point? Yea I know it’s a promo for Magicians Elephant, but it’s relation with Turn the Lights Off, the fact it’s in the repress, and Genius lyric says so, it basically is a Good and Evil song.
It's a small detail, but I absolutely LOVE the harmonizing flutes during the chorus, that has to be one of my favorite sounds EVER!!! I can't tell if they're real flutes or Mellotron flutes, but I love the sound regardless!!!
I was checking out Chonny Jash's version of Light & Night. I really thought that this was his original song! I never knew this was also another tally hall song! This sounds so calming.
