Glad to find a channel that will be USA made only! So tired of all these cheap Chinese knives flooding the market, and youtube. I too, will admit for the price many of them are quality knives, but at some point enough is enough already. Also AWT scales for the win!! I have 6 sets already (bailout, bugout, mini bugout, deka, para 3, and manix 2) and I'm sure will be getting more, they are amazing.

Thanks for watching, much appreciated. Gotta agree with you on the AWT Scales. I recently got another set for a Benchmade Tagged Out. I'll probably do another video about that one soon

Benchmade is definitely pricey. If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn't have so many benchmade knives if I didn't get such a steep discount on them from the Navy Exchange/Post Exchange.

CF Elite is called CF elite because it uses graphite (carbon...) fibers to reinforce the nylon, as opposed to the usual glass fibers. The difference between CF Elite and FRN is the same as the difference between carbon fiber and G10.
Makes the name seem fairly reasonable, to me.
I miss the days when Benchmade made designs that actually interest me. I carried a 940 in the military, so ill always have a soft spot for them but G10 and steel liners for nearly 3x what they charged for titanium less than 10 years ago would probably keep me away even if they made a design i liked.
Thanks for showing your collection. These are always my favorite videos.

I'm surprised you didn't go with applied weapons tech scales on that Ritter RSK. I've heard people say that the stock G10 scales are almost too grippy/sharp. Have you noticed any issues? Are you planning to replace the scales with AWT?

No plans on swapping those out, but the larger size knives don't get carried as much. I usually have one in my tool bag just in case, but it's rare that I need it. The G10 is fine for how I use it. If I did carry it daily in my pocket, then I might have a different opinion about it.
