lmao same for me but I realized sooner that there was a point in the sky and maybe it was where I should go, before I was rowing to this piece of ground and thought I was almost done, but it kept staying in place without me making progress, in the end it was probably the map border with his shitty texture, and wasn't the dock
just rotate the left analog stick anti-clockwise as fast as you possible can and watch the left paddle animation closely. Let the paddle animation finish 3 times. once the paddle comes out of the water the third time, quickly start rotating both analog sticks anti-clockwise and that should line you perfectly up with the lighthouse.

This is ridiculous ive been stuck here for like 3 hours now and not once seen a lighthouse light and how the hell do they expect us to just know the controls for turning left right centering forward back a damn decent game ruined by this stupid part
I literally spent an hour rowing towards that light and still didn’t make it. James could have rowed halfway around the world and still didn’t get to the hotel. WTF
It depends on your play style and how easily you can turn when taking tight corners, especially on Hard where James would bash on the walls if you don't stop in time.
@@LoStraniero91 Rotating this is understandable, but it’s not clear to me, if I have running by default, I still need to click on square, or not, because if James runs and press square he walks, or is it recommended to select walking and hold the square button?
@@LoStraniero91 I changed it so that the default would be running and not walking. In this case, for 3.66 m.с, do I need to hold down the run button or not so that the boat floats faster?
Invisible? probably because your moviments are wrong. The beginning is the most important part. Start moving the boat right by rotating the right analog stick, but don't move too much right because you'll surpass the light ( you can't see the light at the beginning) if you're moviments is correct you can see the light and basically you're in front of the light, at this point rotate both analog sticks (the left one counter clock wise, and right one clock wise).
@@DanteDevil12 it was a bug i think because when i was trying to rotate the boat wasn't moving, it wasn't letting me rotate properly and i would hit invisible walls and get stuck twirling if i git stuck somewhere. What i did was follow your guide after several attempts then i got close facing light after game moved boat a little forward not straight away and i hope on 10 star run i can hopefully pull of a miracle, i dont need ufo ending right?
During you 10 star run you can go for the "Dog" . VERY IMPORTANT: But Before you do the 10 star be sure to : Get all other 5 endings ( Leave , Maria , In Water , Reborn , Dog )+ Maria's sub ending ( Born from a wish ) and Have unlocked all 8 special items ( The 4 items required for reborn ending , Chainsaw , Spray , Dog Key and Blue Gem) . the UFO ending is not needed for this, if you got Leave, Maria, In Water, Rebirth, Born from a Wish and Dog that's perfectly okay. Your result will read 4/4 (+2)
It's impossible to reach the goal, there's no way, I do everything right, I align the boat with the light but it never gets there, it keeps rowing endlessly but it never arrives, it's buggy.

Its just the awful camera and controls, Hopefully the Remake corrects this immersive yet frustrating used experience
