Thusnelda.

She was living a rather peaceful life with her family. Until one day an enemy appears. The Romans. Who threaten to take away everything she has.
Well, what can she do but fight? And that's what she did.
Thousands of soldiers against her in one huge battle. Thousands of soldiers against a few hundred Barbarians. You wanna guess who won?
A woman leading men into battle. A battle that they end up winning. A part of German history. And I loved watching it.
I loved to see her change. She was just a normal woman. But she stood up for what she believed. Let no one talk her down. Showed strength and bravery. And got to a point where we still talk about her and this battle in history lessons.

I wish the English version had been subtitled in both Latin and German parts. There's something about having the German parts in an American accent that detracts from the immersion, even if slightly.
Just watch the normal German version subtitled? They speak Latin in the Latin parts.
