I had the weirdest dream about 'Pond Life' last night. 😲 It started off normal, the way the show usually does. All of the characters end up going on a big trip to a spa; I assumed it was a spa or resort with the big hotel building, hot tubs and people getting their nails and face masks done. It was near a jungle with lots of palm trees and sandy beaches. I don't know the details of how it happened, but Gloria and Dolly went on a hike together. Gloria was out in front and stopped when she found a super deep sink hole. As she looked in, Dolly shoved Gloria and she fell to her death. 😖 After that, the show was viewed from Dolly's prespective. She was slowly driving herself mad with guilt but also congratulating herself because Gloria being gone made her life better. She started dating Gloria's ex, they lived off the insurance money and Dolly slowly forgot that she ever did anything wrong. 😑 The episode in my dream never finished. I ended up taking control of the dream prespective from there and decided to write the third season of Dolly being a psycho killer, for you. While I know Dolly is generally more of a threat to nerself than others, it made the dream really unsetteling to see one of the characters acting so differently, but it feeling real at the same time. 😨 Thought I'd share that. Not sure why. But there you go. 😅
Please rell me we're in for a Dolly Pond reload! Id love to see where her, Belle and of course Gloria Leaf ended up. Pretty please with a cherry on top! 💓🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I watched this obsessively when it was on TV in Canada. One of the funniest programs of the 90s. Brilliant.
