Instead of va0.txt=va0.txt+"Bill" you can write "va0.txt+="Bill".
I wrote it that way in some of my other videos and it seemed to confuse some of the newer Nextion coders so I have been writing it the other way. The longer way seems to make more logical sense to people just getting started.

Don't use print anymore it's deprecated. Instead of print "your string" use prints "your string",0
I will look into that. Nextion is not the best at supplying Technical information.
