From what i've understood Gary is an icon and loved all over the Philliphines . I have a cousin who is married to a woman from the Philliphines and last year i mentioned a female artist from the Philliphines who has become famous through TH-cam and Gary. She was first suprised i knew Morissette Amon and then almost shocked when i mentioned Gary Valenciano!!

I'm glad this Wish 107.5 video worked. I have some more stuff from there. It is a mobile (bus) radio station / studio in the Philippines. I guess they announce the station as sort of an audio watermark. Gary Valenciano is a fixture of the music scene in the Philippines. I saw a live performance video of this song where he talked about Al Jarreau being an inspiration. I think most of his other songs in English would be considered Christian worship songs. I have some other marathons of vocal and instrumental music without my usual guitar emphasis put together ; more with Lex, or both of you in mind - but it looks like that could take a while. Meanwhile, I still have some stuff for Music With Nick.

I had the opportunity to see him perform during a concert at school in the Philippines during the mid 1990's. He's an excellent dancer. Has quite a few moves still at age 58.

i believe this was covered by Gary Valenciano in 2017 as a tribute to Al Jarreau's passing in the same year.
