In the Mexican dialect of Spanish we have a similar phrase to describe someone who’s always in a rush! It’s “se le está quemando los frijoles” meaning “their beans are burning” 😂 just like onions are apart of a lot of your dishes, we eat a lot of beans 😂❤️

There are two dialects Falahey فلاحى and Madaney. The Falahey is more like simple Peasant talk and Madaney is more like people from the city talk.

I tried to learn some Arabic a while back (few years) when I started following your lessons but I couldn’t understand anything and that was because I had nothing not a single word in arabic. Now few years down the line, I get everything you’re teaching which is a bit of progress but gosh takes a lot of Sabr … my dream is that one day in this life I’ll be able to speak Arabic fluently or as fluent as possible for someone that’s not native. You literally are the best and most gorgeous Middle Eastern teacher. I want to teach my baby Arabic so bad, but we speak Assyrian at home and her dad speak English so I am not sure how am I gonna teach her Arabic because she wants to learn so bad but we don’t have people around us who speak Arabic.

I would love to learn Arabic language, because i love different languages. I speak Italian, German, English and French and i really love to listen to the Arabic language. The problem is i can’t afford the course at this moment so i watch the videos and hope to learn something from Maha
Could you do videos on vocabulary for specific hobbies? When we had to learn Spanish in school it was alot easier for me to engage with other speakers about topics I was passionate about like cars/motorsports or exercising. I was also able to consume more media/read more on these and learn more language from there. For Arabic though, It's a bit harder for me to find vocab for specific topics like this in a single place and when I try to watch videos or read articles there are too many words I don't understand.

I beg to differ w you that the "Q" at the end of many words is definately pronounced as such by millions of palestinians, including me and my peeps from Jenin and other cities. So, there are two ways to pronounce it, not just one "shammy" way. That said, I enjoyed your vid. Keep going.

They had never heard the expression, I wonder if it is an older expression, or if it is just not used in the city they grew up.
I am Jewish ( race ) ( born Jewish and raised Jewish / Christian in America , but I am Iraqi ) and was Orthodox Jewish for many years , and converted to Islam ( Shia ) a few years ago ( because the Jews do not follow the Torah like it is meant to be followed ... ) and the only way I learned Hebrew was from you ... Nobody else teaches Hebrew as good as you , with verbs , and relating it to Arabic ... People get to crazy about pa'al , ni'fal , pu'al , etc verbs , and I never understood it , until I watched your videos. So many years of my speaking and ready and understand Hebrew in Synagogue , Torah , etc is credited to you , so , when you get to Jannah , these are yours ...Allahu Akbar !!! لولولولى ى ى !!!
