    Dear Ryan,
Today, the Holy Spirit said to me "the Book of Judges," and I found your teaching on the internet. It totally blessed me and spoke to me directly about something I am currently experiencing in which I needed encouragement.
The fact that human obedience can help usher in God's plans is both a powerful an a humbling reality. In the circle of the human condition, I appreciate how you emphasize the mercy of God, how it is consistent and eternal. I am wearied by the 'sin-consciousness' of the Church and the doctrine that we must be perfect in order to attain heaven after death, and to gain God's favor in this life. It's the Holy Spirit who does ALL of the work! Your teaching on the Book of Judges is timeless and important and is yet another reason to embrace the concept of the eternal security of the believer, and at the same time reminding us that we as humans can also choose to waste our time in pursuing a life of selfishness and disobedience. That God would favor us to be co-laborers with Him in His kingdom is an incredible privilege (1Cor. 3:9).
I have some writings that may be of interest to you. Again, thank you for this video. I believe it was God-inspired. God bless you. - Pam T., Seattle, WA

a lot of SDA pastors are preaching truth and singing the song of Moses without fear of being called unPC or intolerant .. sorry world but Christ is exclusive and he calls a people out of the world to be seperate and peculiar in their ways compared with the worlds

Hello, Ryan, James here. I have been studying the Bible myself with my big Family and focusing on the OT lately and I must say that the result of your study on Judges including Ruth is a spot on approach and definitely an inspired study🙏😇😍

I really enjoyed this my friend and brother! This was truly refreshing and I thank you for being bold and going after the glory of God through teaching what was laid upon your heart! I can't wait to go back and study through all of this and I want to share this with my wife and my 10-year-old twins. They love Ruth so I pray that God would use this teaching as supplemental teaching to encourage them to follow the Holy Spirit and be obedient rather get caught in that vicious cycle of the Israelite people! Amen

The Holy Spirit has really been ministering to me recently through the book of Judges. I appreciated you mentioning that Sampson would not have necessarily been "buff" (amongst many other nuggets) - which would have made men lay human reasoning aside to truly believe it could only be through God's supernatural power in him that he operated. The whole thing... very nicely done 👍

It's not 200yrs it's more than 500 yrs to be exact it's 554 from coming out of Egypt till Solomon building temple

Do you have insights to the Book of Judges? The dating depend on where you start and end. Simple math. I've always thought from the death Joshua till Saul became king.

    • @chetanpaulr
      @chetanpaulr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@bruceyoung7821 i found a verse where paul says there have been 40 years desert wandering's And After, he said that there have been 450 years For the time of Judge's till prophet Samuel so by adding 40+450 years we get 490 years
and the last 20 years of the 450 years have been the prophet samuel's time co-paralleled with first 20 years of king saul's 40 year reign the 450 years ended with the anointing of true king david by samuel also ending samuel's 20 years prophethood judging time so after that there will be 20 remaining years of Saul's 40 year reign should be added to the 490 years so 40+450=490,490+20=510
and after saul's death exactly 20 years after david's anointing by samuel david becomes king at age 30 and ruled 40 year's so this must be added 510+40=550
After david dies solomon begins rule and his 4th year starts the building of temple so this 4 years must be added 550+4=554 years
so from exodus to solomons 4th year is 554 years
      1521 BC(exodus) To 968-967 BC (solomon's 4th year)

Another thong about 40 years is it refers to A generation, not necessarily exactly that long.
    Good observations.

I never knew about Judges and Ruth were connected. I had a feeling it was connected only because when judges mentioned the Moabites and then read she was a Moabite I said it had to be connected as one of the son marrying a Moabite like wait what they were a gentile perhaps she was different as she decided to follow her husband's customs and God. Also... I just thought of this. You mentioned salvation Ruth it begins and salvation is for the Jew first and then for the gentile. A gentile joins and follows the Lord God Almighty... See this wow!! Revelation!!! 🤦‍♂️❤️🙂

I have to give props where props are due and I 💯 agree with you. I always felt that the Judges were more of saviors called up by Jehovah because the people of Israel were begging for one. And to your belief on people compromising there beliefs with regard to the Baals and the ashtoreths, I feel that the people of Israel lost faith in God or didn’t trust him 💯 because they never fully burned these idols, so God punishes them. God didn’t want them messing with any idols. He didn’t even want the touching there goats or gold and if the did, and I’m thinking Joshua the were punished. Thank you for uploading this video to TH-cam.

Such a good point about US (I'd actually say Western society) being in that cycle of forgetfulness. I suspect there are hard times ahead for that society but perhaps we'll be forced into proper perspective through that suffering as occured in Judges.
