I played Tanglewood when it released on the Genesis and it quickly became one of my all time favorite games. It's an incredibly good game. This Evercade combo is really solid.
Good stuff! I actually bought Xeno Crisis last year for Genesis. I found the controls to work a little better on the 6-buttom arcade stick. Also the roll issue guy describe doesn't happen on the Genesis version. I'll have to check out Tanglewood...
Isn't it possible to plug in a controller with dual analog sticks and map that for the twin shooter? I know the Evercade does allow you to use any controller you want, so would that work?
Xenocrisis I played on PS Vita and it was great. I hope evercade does more compilations like a Game Gear collection or a Neo Geo Pocket color collection.
I guess my question here is… is Evercade the best way to play these games? The other carts they sell I have few options (usually) but here it seems I have a number, even my Switch it seems.
I don’t think you had to stop firing to roll on Xbox one. But don’t quote me, I just don’t recall that being an issue. You just automatically stopped firing while you rolled, I think. Also, don’t know if you realize but you can’t fight the true boss or get an ending if you continue at all. Save states would help with that but oddly you don’t have that on modern consoles. This cart is already above retail price on amazon so it may be somewhat limited.

I love the carts with tonnes of games, but I would be just as happy with more carts like this....a couple of newer titles....Axiom Verge anyone?
