I Love this idea. I would glue the towel holder to the plate..and then use white tape to hold it to the mop handle..but the rest..Genius. Thank you ..

Such a great idea that really works!! I used 5” balloons I found on Temu for dirt cheap. Then I used your method & made a huuuuge “11” to put in the front yard for our son’s birthday. It looks so awesome & in total it was less than $20!
***I doubled up the broom sticks & used sand bags on the base to give it more stability.

I use a string mop, removing the strings. a charger plate, a mop handle and glue. = $3.75

Thanks! I already have a broom stick but was debating on what to use for the bottom... now i think the mop is better so I can out in the top a foil graduation balloon... its for my son kindergarten class..for pictures so I don't want to spend to much!

Do you think you can make it more sturdier for outdoor use using a paver/ stepping stone by using gorilla tape to attach the plate to the stone??? I am thinking about trying this for my granddaughter Birthday party in a couple of weeks
Hello Angela, I think you can. You can even use the glue gun from your plastic plate to the paver. But before you do it. You may try one first just to see if it works and if not you can try the gorilla tape. But I think the glue gun will work. Thank you.

Hello Vianey, with this stand, I don't think you can because this is not that heavy and hula hoop is heavier. You can do it with a huge and much sturdier balloon stand (the round one) and it will be good.

Next time my recommendation is use zip ties, I can't see how the glue is going to stay on without peeling or breaking off.

Hello ! you can add balloon weights. You may put 4, make it into quad and attached it to the very base of your balloon stand. Then you can cover it with the actual balloon quad. Thank you.
