Hi Velitra! Thanks for the info it was great information!!! Yeah I'm one of those people that just don't like to sell on the streets. For one I'm not a sociable person ( I'm still shy at my age 😂 it's funny but then it's not) and also too scared to because I have no one to come with me to help me out! I just make my baskets and my husband brings them to work and he has a friend from church who has a Barbershop and he let's me put some baskets in the window and in return I will give him a percentage of a basket or give him one for free it all just depends on the price of the basket he wants and if he wants one. I also let my family & friends know that I am selling baskets but that's how I sell my baskets!!! Happy a great day hug's and 😘's!

Do three times your cost. Sometimes more if you got a really good deal. Or do double your cost of materials plus your time it took to make. I charge $1 per minute for my time

How do you price baskets when the customer purchases the items for you?
I do my time it takes to put it together. I charge a dollar per minute. Then if you use your own shrink wrap, bows, tape, etc charge for those in addition

Pre- order is when you let them see what do you & then they tell you what they want ?
Yes pretty much. They’ll order before the holiday or event. Based on what you’ve already created or based on custom design. But the item or baskets are usually sold to a designated person before the actual holiday.

Yes I believe the owner will want a cut. But it just depends. If you know someone they may not charge you. You’ll have to discuss it with the owner.

Hello. I take cash app, cash or cards using square for retail.
How do you set your prices?
Some times I do value of items x3 but if that’s too much I’ll do value plus the amount of time it took me to put the basket together. Then if that number is not good enough I’ll round up to the next ten or down to the lower ten. Make sense?

If I spend $25 on products about $75 depending on the items inside

I do 3 times the amount I paid for everything usually. I sell on the street. I get supplies from Amazon mostly.

Hey Love. Yes you’ll need to get an EIN eventually if you plan on doing it as a business. But if you just want to do it on the side you can do it as a sole proprietor and report the income or loss individual on your taxes.
