- Join YachtWorld and Marilyn DeMartini for a full walkthrough review of the new Bertram 35 Flybridge yacht. The Bertram 35 was built on the timeless foundation of the original 31s. Each hull is infused with 100% vinyl ester composite and designed with pocketed propellers, enormous cockpit space, and equipped with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, Subzero refrigerators, Fusion stereo system, and a bow thruster - all as standard equipment on each boat. Featuring a beamier, longer hull than the original 31 and capable of being fully fish-rigged, there’s little this machine can’t handle. At nearly half the boat's length the large cockpit gives you plenty of room to take command of the fishing or the party. This is an ideal boat for the sportfishing enthusiast, and cruising families alike. This vessel is as rugged, dependable, safe and efficient - as it is elegant and luxurious. Her stunning interior has loads of natural light from a full panoramic, frameless glass window, leaving the space open and bright.

Now this is the size and style that you can do it all in one boat. You may not be the first one there but you will arrive in comfort and style. The capability to get out of the weather and relax in comfort is worth a lot alone! This should be a hit!
Excellent presentation as always ! Now this is the best thought out design I have seen in years. It is so refreshing to see a smaller sporty’ instead of dozens of center consoles in ridiculously large sizes… with all their inherent limitations in big water and cruising. It figures that Bertram is bringing this one. As a boy in Miami, one of my family’s first boats was a 1963 Bertram 31 and we fished the heck out of it all over Florida and the Caribbean. We have been in bigger boats for many years now with the kids and grandkids… a 70 ft. Hatteras, now moored for the summers in Belize. Honestly this 35 can do so many things you don’t need to ramp up in size and costs. I like the whole concept and execution of this Bertram! My wife is giving me that “ don’t even think about another boat” look. 😉

I love everything about this boat except the range. It's set up as a weekend overnighter way offshore. It needs a 500 mile range. From what I can tell it has about 300.
If you want to get 4 guys offshore to battle sea monsters, you can't worry about fuel for a 24-48 hour trip. Outside of that, it's the best inboard I've ever seen.
Needs an outboard version. Twin 600s would be perfect.
Absolutely love that boat I'll have to wait another five years until it depreciates enough for me to consider one. However I would and it would be my sixth Bertram

Imagine installing O/B Bracket on the back with built in floatation hanging 3-4 Outboards removing the inboards. Think of how much more room could be created..... Just like a Albemarle 30 Express.

Nice-but I'm thinking it needs a lower helm station, because I don't think it would be fun to get off and on the flybridge when it is rough.

Not a having a standard hardtop or even a soft top seems like a major oversight on a boat with only one helm. So what do you do when it rains?

Ya think?? The lack of a hardtop kinda makes it look small IMO
I wanted that boat, but too bad they wasted so much cockpit space to those lounges. They should have been two l shaped sofa/lounges so you could sit upright if you want. To have to lay down, instead of sit upright, is a waste. You really spend more time sitting than laying down. tow or three guys who want to be outside, aren't laying down! Otherwise this is a beautiful, if not practical, boat.
It's a $750K boat and Bertram outfits the cabin with a POS $150 Vizio TV? LOL

Why do so many boat yards disregard those when producing their latest 'thing'? One day very soon many yachtsmen/women will look back at this video and ask their yacht designer to not deviate from this footage. 👤👥🫂
