I love the end of your videos where you and G are walking through the forest. Reminds me of the time I went to the quilt show, and your cheerful Chamber of Commerce directed me where I could pitch my tent. Safe travels, and have fun at woolstock.
Some people have us candied apples. My mother always made popcorn balls. We went about the neighborhood in our ghost costumes. Mother would take three twin sheets, for the three of us and cut the eyes after carefully measuring. Fun, fun, fun!. I am 75, soon to be 76 years old.
I was very e cited to wake to a new video this morning! I had thought we wouldn’t see you until you got back from Woodstock! Hoping you have a GREAT time and I’d love to be with you in Stacey’s shop! Your pin cushions turned out great! Thanks to you I ordered the Bowl Me Over! It’s a wonderful book. Thank you for sharing! I immediately made the HOME is where the heart is. It uses the cling wrap for the smaller words as you have shown in a previous video. I’m so happy that it worked really well!💕 Well safe travels and have a great time! Will be looking for photos.
Love both of your pincushions, Anna! They turned out beautifully. Have fun at Woodstock and I’ll be looking forward to a full report of all the activities on the next Quilt Roadies. 🍁🍂
Hi Anna, thanks for your lovely hospitality ,Just like you I am missing my stitching buddies and it will be a while till we can all sit around and share our experiences again. I am grateful for your blogs and I don't know how I would be without them. While you were stitching I was quilting my fourth baby quilt this month, it is a rainbow quilt, looking fresh and modern. Two more to go! These are all family and friends that are in the family way, so nature is making up for all the lost souls of the last six months! I hope your grandson will arrive in good health and will bring you joy in these hard times. Here in Tasmania we have been COVId 19 free for more than a month, but there are still restrictions and no interstate travel to the mainland. Victoria is trying to controls the second wave and there are strict curfews. We are all doing the right thing and staying home, praying for those that are affected. I love your house stitching project, it will be beautiful. Best wishes and see you soon. Johanna Xoxo

Amazing pin cushions. My sewing buddy and I found we were using a lot of walnut shells and they can get quiet expensive so I went you our local feed store , bought a 50 pound bag and we split it which saved so much money. Have a great week stitching.

You inspired me to try a wool project - Thanks for your inspiration and the time you and G spend for us quilters out there ❤️
I have been watching your quilting videos and have quilted for many years. I decided to try wool stitching and have ordered things from Buttermilk Basin. Now you are cross stitching which I did back in 90s and now want to do some more. Hope you don't start another hobby because I won't be able to stay up with you, ha ha. I am now going back and watching your first quilt roadies videos and am loving every one. Keep up the great work you do.
Ida ... I was thinking the same thing!! I hope Anna does not start anything new ...... I did cross stitching in the 90's and now I am at it again ( thanks Anna) .. between that and quilting!! I am running out of time.

Such cute pincushions. Have a good time at Woolstock in MN. Hope you get to see some changing colors of fall while in the area. Of course, you can cross the river at LaCrosse and visit the beautiful state of Wisconsin. Neat quilt shop in LaCrosse called River Road Quilt Shop. Looking forward to your videos from Woolstock.
Dear Anna, love to hang out with you at the beehive. My ❤️ to the memories of Enzo. Love the pin cushions as I collect and make pincushions. My favorite pincushion story ; when I was in London I purchased a miniature royal crown with velvet as part of the crown. It is now my favorite “memory pin cushion”. Love ya, Glenda and Mackenzie the poodle
Have fun at Stitchville! I am soooo jealous!! I vote for Trick or Treating with that adorable grandson! Enzo will be there in spirit! Safe Travels Anna!
Cute finishes with those charms Anna.. now you’ve got me looking for some metal charms. I have a collection of plastic snowflake buttons but don’t think I’ve seen metal ones. You could sew a jack o’lantern wool brooch for the challenge. You must sew a pin back onto the back of the slightly stuffed jack o’lantern. You could even put a piece of batting slightly smaller than the jol shape and buttonhole stitch the three layers together. You could stitch it on the plane flight!
That’s what friends are for! Sorry you missed the Quilt Show today it was lovely. Michelle and I went out to Saint Helens for s peek at Fibre and Stitches. Unfortunately most of her quilts on display were someone else’s so no pictures. We had a lovely lunch at the Dockside Pub.
I’ll love to sit with you while you make the pillowcase Anna 😃.I love the little houses pattern and the pin cushions turned out fabulous...I wouldn’t want to part with them. I went to see Downtown Abbey last Tuesday..oh it was just wonderful...shame it’s the last but as they say all good things must end. Have a fabulous time 😘💐
