I went to his house with my mom and dad. I met his kids and played with his tiger. I never seen her again but I was crushing on his daughter.

Was definitely Danica. She was always beautiful and still is. Inside and out. 💕
The middle daughter was kind of ugly & the youngest was, I’m sure playing marbles in the gutter or wrestling with her brother. Lol
Btw she was cute too. Haha

My uncle was a wrestler and took me to his house to meet him when I was 11 years old. He has a full sized wrestling ring in a small building in his backyard behind his garage. He had a pet cougar and used to wrestle with it for shows that he got paid for. He showed us a film on a projector when he was on a TV show called THRILL SEEKERS that was hosted by actor Chuck Conners of The Rifleman fame. On the show he climbed up a tall diving block above a pool at Japanese Gardens, lit himself on fire and dove into the pool. Then he would wrestle with his cougar in the pool. The crowd would go crazy!

Omg. I actually got to talk to this man once when my neighbor Louis Ballint and he even gave me a 45 of this promo he produced with the Great John L.
Lou told me when producing this challenge recording they talked him into drinking a bottle of whiskey because in the production studio he didn't sound mean enough.

Lou saved me from i’m drowning in his pool. He also had me chase Shirly around the pool with a fake snake. To this day, I feel so bad. Lol
They were really good to us kids. 💕

I remember john L - My brother was a friend of his son, Bill Clark - I think I was about 18 when I went to their house with my brother - I actually went there maybe 5 times I guess - I remember the mountain lion, I remember the boxing ring in the building behind the house - The building was not really that small, it was basically one huge room that the ring was in - This would have been 50 years ago so I don't see it all sharply in my mind - Off to one side of the Ring I think there might have been some smaller rooms but I never went into them so I don't really know if I'm even remembering that correctly - Back out on the property, if you go to the other side of the house, there was a tetherball, I remember hitting it a few times - I remember his younger sister, just guessing, I would say she was eleven or twelve at the time, quite pretty - I never got a chance to see it, but I was told that when John L changed his original name, he arranged to have 'The Great John L' on his drivers license

You’re memory did well. Lol I forgot about the tetherball. The 2 story gym( that’s what we called it) had an apartment upstairs & a huge kinda hidden food storage place. The only room with an actual door downstairs was a bathroom. But it was sectioned off kinda like rooms I guess. I remember at one point it was wall to wall arcade games.
And the sister you were talking about was most likely Danica. She is still beautiful to this day. Honey was the Mountain lion’s name.
This was so cool taking a trip down memory lane. 💕
