Thank you very much for sharing this tutorial it is a very cleaver way to do this and a well made tutorial. I have know the same thing about the stair post snapping points but never thought to use it this this way. For the as limiting as this building system can be it is amazing how many different ways there actually are to accomplish the same end result. I always love to see how different builders think. I just wanted to come up with an alternative to catwalks and after a couple of failed ideas, tried to think of something that snapped at multiple places and I had that lightbulb moment lol
This is awesome! I have the catwalks but it's only because I got them through Bethesdas help section on their site. I was trying to figure out foundation flipping and this helped loads. I'm trying to build a UFO base lol
Overlapping floors do this, you can try swapping the floors out. Different textures minimise it and you can try minimally lowering a couple of floors but tbh it's hit or miss. Sorry you felt you had to join my discord to ask the same question but it didn't change the fact that you asked it at 2am for me and I was asleep lol
Between overlook cabin and somersville. If you can't place it, something probably went wrong. A good place to build these blueprints is the airport workshop, the runway is very flat. I once built one of these where I had an existing camp and my blueprint wouldn't go down because I'd managed to pick up some confetti with it lol
The problem with stream of consciousness videos and fibromyalgia is I sometimes say the wrong thing but I don't have the energy to redo a video because of it, I do it quite often lol
