Zoph Lateriser and Pras thank you for another season of high quality FPL analysis delivered week in week out. I loved Bakar but you guys seem to get better every season, Pras a fantastic addition. I’m sure we don’t get to see how much time and effort this takes but we really appreciate it. but then with LR on the hits -60
Started season ahead of the trio 766K by Gw7 (Went alvarez over jackson) but then lost my nerve in the middle before a decent end game. FH34, WC35, BB37
Lessons learnt (YMMV):
1. Temper your diff cap tendencies: My Haaland caps - 43% haul. When I don't - 11% chances of a rise. Gwk23 Watkins 18 vs SHU is a blue moon event.
2. Don't choose violence or hits in general. -8s are usually own goals.
3. United players or FPL rank.. you can only pick one. Same for FPL or mental health.
4. Be you and be contrarian within reasonable bounds. That is the way!

This channel is my weekly FPL medicine, if by any reason i fail to listen to it, I will read Lateriser's Twitter breakdown post few minutes to deadline. For me, following team leaks did more harm than good, it just had a way to sway my original plans.
Fell out of the top 100k on GW38. Went from 96k to 125k on last day.
Season Best Rank = 15k by GW23

I agree with the points re: Alvarez about having Jackson instead in a 3-5-2, and reservations around having two forwards from the same team (for some reason it looks so much better with the OOP midfielder ones even if they are a forward). But Alvarez was also a xMins concern at the start of the season. One thing I didn't adjust to quick enough (and many didn't) was the fact that KDB was out long term, so Alvarez's minutes were much more secure than anyone realised. I moved Joao Pedro to Jackson in GW3 (pre-planned from the start) and didn't end up moving to Alvarez until GW6. He ended up starting the first 25 games of the season, but never scored higher than 6pts after GW22.
