Sofia is such a good person. she's an amazing actress if you watch modern family after a few seasons she breaks the stereotype of being a sex icon on the show. I don't blame her for being exploited even when it is in humor by Hollywood it is. stereotype that's gonna take a while to break. she's so supportive of her modern family cast you can see her screaming their names when they win any awards in Emmys. also she is so proud of her Heritage and culture

I am a young european girl and in the past 5 years, I have visited Colombia 4 times (wanted this year too, but couldn't because of Covid19). Over the past years I have fallen in love with the colombian people and their country. I have been welcomed from day one into families' homes of people I only knew their son or daughter. I am living with my friends and their families and no one ever gave me the feeling of being burdened or uncomfortable with my stay at their house for weeks, even though they give up their privacy or even queeze into rooms or beds together, to give me my own space. Colombians are the kindest folk I have ever met.
So open, so funny and just lovely and welcoming. And not just my friends. I have been at different airports in Europe and America and no where have I ever received as much help and general kindness as at their airports. They always make sure to help you in directions or other questions, even if they barely understand you, because you don't speak one word of spanish. Same goes for the Taxi or Uber drivers. As soon as I even try to talk to them with my poor spanish, they take over the conversation with such great spirit, that they don't care if I can't say much in return.

Geez guys. Stop fighting over her accent. Who cares? If you do really like her you don't have to question every single detail thing she does. You might as well ask : "is her tan skin real or did she just exaggerately make it?" or "is her hair real or did she just exaggerately curl it?" It's ridiculous. Let me get this straight. Learning languages are BLOODY HARD. When you are 5 or 10, yes you may have a greater chance to learn the language faster and use it better. But when you are 18 years old and tries to learn other language, it becomes EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. And I don't have to point out why, because YOU KNOW WHY. I am an asian and I've only been in Australia for 2 years and I kick my ass off everytime I made a mistake in either writing or speaking (so please mind my grammar and spelling in this comment) Let alone Sofia. She is an actress and she has to pronounce words clearly with at least, some "American" accent. Give her a break will ya? As long as you understand what she says, what is the problem? I know some of you only ask because you are curious, but some of you are just down right RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. For once, PUT YOURSELF IN OTHER PEOPLE SHOES.
