Well that's true for me.
I stopped watching naruto shippuden after this episode and only later after 3 weeks, I started watching it again because I needed some time to face reality.
It wasn't mine, since i was excited for the next episode. I prefer Pain/Nagato over Kakashi (still love him), so that's probably why

@@quieness in her defense they pulled a similar bait and switch with Neji and Choji during the same retrieval arc where we swore we saw them die so its not like kishimoto hasn't pulled a fast one before. Plus this series has a knack for subverting what we know. They made us believe Gaara and Kimimaru were just evil at first but turned them quickly into sympathetic characters. We all just knew Itachi was the ultimate turn coat and nothing but trash. It was pounded into us. But as of just a few episodes ago we say he's an unsung hero.
Now I'm not saying Mommas right. I'm not saying she's wrong. I'm just saying the show has set up moments that prove our knowledge wrong. Her hope or denial isn't without merit from the shows track record
