i think it would be a hard battle in aizens favor 1v1. since he can just manipulate yama with illusions and god only knows what a bankai would be if cornered. (though i think the time space perception, is aizens bankai)
what i want to know, is if all battles are that of spirit pressure, how much would someone need to be immune to Aizens hypnosis?

While this is certainly possible, I also think it's possible he made Wonderweiss to save himself the strength he'd use up against Yamamoto. He still had to worry about potential other threats and could be in a bit of trouble if Yamamoto did enough damage to him. That said, I still think Yamamoto was way stronger, but I don't think Aizen was that confident he'd lose.

Thats the thing, with the hogyouku in equation, aizen always wins eventually. Yama would be static, aizen will just keep increasing and here is an interesting detail, unlike ichigo whom aizen underestimated (led to getting mind fucked with delusions) aizen 100% knows that yama is stronger than him thus aizen will not be surprised at all with any crazy shit yama pulls since well its the literal captain commander, with this state of mind, aizen will just evolve without end as his will will not be broken meaning the hogyouku will just juice him to reach his goal (defeatin yama)

    • @kingwill1623
      @kingwill1623 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Let me shut that notion down
As once Aizen fused with Hogyoku his Reiatsu couldn’t be felt this puts him above Yamamoto and ichibei already as in guide book it said if Ichigo doesn’t get the final Getsuga Tenshō there’s no stopping Aizen and the picture of first form Aizen was used. The he literally levels up again after finishing playing with Yoruichi , isshin and Kisuke and one shotting all three of him the moment he decided to fight back. And further back my point Aizen destroyed the cleaner and if you don’t know The Kōtotsu (the cleaner) appears once every seven days to cleanse the area - killing anyone and everything that makes contact with it - to assure that no one can loiter and take advantage of the time distortion. the Kōtotsu is a being of reason and not Reiatsu, as such, nothing can be done to it with Reiatsu. However, Aizen continues to hold his ground and then destroys the Kōtotsu as it gets close by looking at it. The Soul Society has no means of sealing the Kōtotsu. And If a being is caught by the Kōtotsu, they'll be thrown out to a greatly different point in time from when they entered the Precipice World. so that means ichibei and Yamamoto can’t do it either and this is only second form Aizen whose above his first form that would of been capable of soloing the 0 division. Then when Aizen gets to his butterfly form it’s literally stated in bleach unmasked which is the official guide book and it’s canon that Aizen is equal to that of the Soul king “Heading towards the height of God
Aizen becomes a replacement for REIO, to create a new world. As an "emissary" to accomplish that noble aim, his awareness of his existence In the level of God sprouted.”
And after that when he transformed again he stated to surpass that of the Soul king “By fusing the Hopyoku with his own body, Aizen attempted to evolve into an even higher existence. That final form even surpassed the state of God, and was even devilish. The figure transcending everything isn't like a Shinigami or Hollow, the figure is fantastic/grotesque.” The picture of monster Aizen is shown.
Trying to use isshin feat means nothing of cracking the shell means nothing he was playing with them the entire time and their dialogue even says they aren’t even on his level the moment he decided to try he one shotted all of them the official statements back the shit up and you can go watch Seth the programmers video ranking the captains and it’s says he says the same thing that argument is dead in the water base Yhwach= or greater than bankai Yamamoto but weaker than ichibei both being weaker the the cleaner that Aizen destroyed in his second form and none of them were Soul king level probably beside almighty Yhwach was he regained his power and one shot ichibei who he says was superior to bankai Yamamoto calling him the pinnacle of all Shinigami that Yamamoto being stronger that Hogyoku Aizen falls flat in the water and these are the litteral statements on the manga panels and guide books that are in quotations that’s irrefutable as to deny the statements would be trying to put head canon above the authors word which you can’t do.

I feel like Yamamoto could have easily defeated Aizen at Aizen’s power level at that time, but there was too much potential collateral damage that prevented Yama from unleashing his full power. Aizen knew this and didn’t fear any real attack, but to cover all his bases and instead of confronting Yama head-to-head, he creates Wonderweiss to “seal” his zanpakuto with the aim of preventing him from even participating in the battle. If Aizen would have used Kyoka Suigetsu against him, Yama would have most likely incinerated the entire area to ensure he negated Kyoka Suigetsu’s effect and got Aizen regardless of where he actually was (only if Yamamoto felt like he could or felt like he had no choice).

I think Yamamoto can defeat almost anyone in the bleach universe. He is the most powerful imo. But the amount of collateral damage which he would cause can be fatal and also in some way limiting him as the very thing yama wants to protect will be destroyed. Due to such Yama has to work around ways in order to protect the things he wants to as well as fight to win. Yama has no privilege like any other captain to go all out.

He also understood that Aizen hypnosis could easily counter any attack and thus decided to set up a area of affect attack that would prevent his escape. The man is on another level even when dealing with Aizen hax powers.

Ultimately, I think what this proves is that Kubo hadn't figured out exactly what he wanted Yama's bankai to be at this point in the story when Aizen and Yama had this exchange. Yama could have easily flicked Zanken no Tachi on and off in the span of a few seconds, insta-killed Aizen, and inflicted less damage to the environment than what he was going for with his special move to kill would have done in the first place.

  • @Kwick777

Analyzing the fight, I do believe that in a 1 v 1, Yama wins. I do believe that he was confident in 1) Identifying that the Aizen he grabbed was the real one. And 2) That he could kill Aizen. I think he just thought he couldn't afford to take the chance and had to make sure there was zero chance of Aizen bamboozling himself out of the situation, thus the burning hell. Obviously Bankai Yama isn't needed and would no diff Aizen, but the collateral damage would be too great. The Hogyoku is always a concern. Maybe it lets him survive the burning hell, but that's a maybe. I think Bankai Yama for sure would bypass the Hogyoku by literally erasing it from existence.
The only thing I didn't like about the fight was Yama sacrificing an arm for literally nothing. I feel like it should have at least left Aizen with a permanent scar that would not heal even through his several evolutions.

Because Suzumebashi is an offensive power that directly tries to harm the opponent, so if the opponent has enough Reiatsu he can just not be damaged by the attack because his Reiatsu acts as a form of energy shield. However Aizen's power is not a direct confrontation or clash of power but a subtle mind trick, and in Bleach mind attacks seem to completely ignore the power level of the fighters (like how Aizen was tricked by Shinji's Shikai or how even YWACH with part of the Soul King's power was fooled by Kyoka Suigetsu).

I love topics like this. And both sides have such a point that's it would come down to "Plot" if it went that way. Would plot allow Aizen to ascend before Yamamoto burnt him to cinders. However you brought up a super interesting point about Ichigo that makes me want to ask your theory as i've not seen as many conversations on it... Ichigo's Mugetsu was to be the END ALL be all of Ichigo's powers and more so over the EVERYTHING in Bleach. Trancedant beings like Aizen didn't even sense Ichigo's spiritual pressure... So i feel like i should ask. If Ichigo had went about reawakening THAT ability against Yhwach, would it have been enough? Would it had been more than what Ichigo put out before. Could the "Almighty" quincy counter the strike that rips soul reapers powers from their body after use. The hit that even the Hogyoku deemed Aizen no longer worthy of it's powers after taking said hit.

Aizen would win, shikai to shikai.
When Yamamoto initially lunges to attack Aizen, Aizen uses Kyoka Suigetsu to create a duplicate illusion of himself. Unbeknownst to Yamamoto, Aizen is already behind him. Aizen then dispels his illusion and makes himself visible, alerting Yamamoto to his presence. Had Aizen maintained his illusion and continued to obscure his presence-as he did with Harribel-he could’ve simply chopped off Yamamoto’s head and won.
So, why didn’t he? Aizen has a massive ego, a God-complex in fact. He feels he is superior to everyone in every aspect, especially strength. So, when Yamamoto asks “Do you really think you can cut me”, he is challenging Aizen’s strength. Aizen’s ego compels him to accept the challenge and he proves that he can indeed cut the Head Captain, seemingly reaffirming his strength. He deliberately chose to: dispel his illusion, reveal himself, and avoid killing Yamamoto in this exchange because you can’t prove anything to a corpse.
What about Wonderweiss? Aizen doesn’t like getting his hands dirty. He prefers to delegate tasks to others, despite being perfectly capable of performing those tasks himself. He writes a false letter to coax Toshiro into killing Momo, despite Aizen nearly succeeding in the endeavor himself. He goads Tosen into punishing Grimmjow, despite later showing his ability to punish the 6th Espada with his spiritual pressure alone. He creates the Espada to defeat the captains, despite later demonstrating that he could defeat them on his own. Wonderweiss is yet another tool Aizen uses to avoid dirty work rather than proof of power inferiority to Yamamoto.
It’s worth noting that bringing bankai into the conversation is an unfair dynamic, considering Aizen’s bankai is unknown. What is known is that Aizen is the stronger of the two, shikai to shikai.

It depends how smart you think Urahara is. In the story they established that Urahara couldn't find any ways to destroy the Hogyoku, which is why he decided to hide it forever instead. So it all comes down to whether or not Urahara ever researched / asked about Yamamoto's Bankai. If he did, then his Bankai can't destroy the Hogyoku. If he didn't, then there's a chance it might be able to destroy the Hogyoku.
Considering the Final Getsuga Tensho came from a being even more advanced than an ascended Aizen was, and that still couldn't break the Hogyoku, I personally don't think Yamamoto's Bankai could destroy it... unless you believe Yamamoto's bankai even surpasses Dangai Ichigo and the Final Getsuga Tensho... which I personally think is unreasonable to consider.

Yamamoto is a good example of an how a fictional character is written too strong. He was teased as the strongest captain but didn't get to show it. Rather he was put aside so that the antagonists could show off their superiority in battle and strategy. Not just that but he was also way too proud to ask for the help of others such as Orihime or Ichigo. When he faced fake Yhwach with just one arm he lost severally and was humiliated. Kubo had to step in when Yamamoto was weak enough so to give him a battle he couldn't win anymore.

Does it have the power to erase from existence someone like Gerard the Miracle? Gerard, Aizen and Yhwach are the only 3 people that could possibly physically tank Yamamoto's Bankai. So long as he can enter Bankai and fight someone, he will win, no matter what, illusion or no, whatever he is fighting he will win against if he can be in his Bankai state or until completely tired out.
Gerard could keep reforming until Yamamoto gets tired? Yhwach would shatter the Bankai with his Almighty (or steal it) and Aizen would be the most susceptible to it. Without the the Hogyoku, Aizen would not win even with Kyoka Suigetsu, he'd have to run away everytime.
I think Aizen sealed him with Wonderweiss because he was that terrified of fighting it even in an evolved state (for instance he was fearful of dying from Gin which pushed him to evolve further). So it's a simple a question of; Would Aizen evolve after being erased by Zanka no Tachi? If so, then he would have a power similar to Gerard that allows him to do anything he requires in the moment he needs. Yamamoto's Bankai would remain effective and the supreme victor, but characters like Gerard and Aizen could outlast the destruction until Yamamoto is tired out I think.

Yes even without the hogoku aid after in tybw he came back from being totally annihilated and absorbed by yhwach thanks to the hogoku already granting him immortality let alone with it hew would just reappear and evolve

Aizen doesn't have bankai that's the fact the reason is clear before a shinigami have access to bankai you have to spend time with your blade train with it or use the means Urahara and Ichigo used but Aizen is proud he thinks he can win all battle with is shikai so he doesn't train to attain bankai, evidence is when ICHIGO fought him and explained how he felt loneliness in his sword.
And Yamamoto will always win against Aizen no matter what firstly Aizen can never escape the fire if wonder wise did not absorb it and even if Aizen transcend Yamamoto will still sense him reason for this is during the TYBW ARC after all the training in the munken and the transitions they still sensed him it's because the captains have trained more and also sensing a transcended being is based on riatsu level, Ichigo has a very good riatsu that why ishin advised him to do the dangai training plus since he was the one that sensed him after transcending and you can't compare ishin with all other captains their riatsu level defers back to Yamamoto's fight if Yamamoto is not holding back and please don't compare Yamamoto's bankai to Gin's bankai if tanka no tashi west was to hit Aizen's chest, then Aizen's chest and the hygoku will disappear from existence.
When Gin hits Aizen, Aizen's body doesn't disappear it just disintegrates to very small particles giving the hygoku something to stich back to place but for Yamamoto it will disappear completely, when Gin fights Ichigo Gin bankai doesn't make Ichigo disappear but if it's Yamamoto bankai then Ichigo would seize in existence

I think theres 2 potential ways to look at Wonderweiss.
Either aizen viewed yamamoto as a clear threat and knew he would lose and thus made a counter to stall, or aizen was just being overly cautious. I think the second option is more true than the first. Its possible he didnt know how and when he would ascend, and wanted some level of insurance. And realistically, he is the type of person to take 0 risks even if he knows he is basically guaranteed to win. Even if he thinks he will win, why bother when you can just take losing out of the equation entirely.
That being said... i dont think it was smart for yamamoto to not bankai. If his entire plan revolves around blowing them both up since before even starting this whole thing.... it would have been better to have a plan that allowed him to actually bankai and not kill literally everyone. Especially given the outcome of not using bankai had.

I agree pretty much with everything in this video. I think Yamamoto ideally should be able to push Aizen to maybe at least his first post-cocoon transformation. I would say probably up to Aizen's "butterfly" transformation at the most if he hasn't already rendered him to ash with Zanka no Tachi.

Hopefully one day we get an idea on what Aizen's bankai really is.

I don't think he has one. He just used his Shikai to fool everyone into thinking he does.

I think Yama should be ressistant to kyoka suigetsu just like aizen was to nigeki kessatsu

Aizen was letting his guard down that's why Yamaji could hold his hand and later Aizen didn't use his kyōka Suigetsu when Yamaji was on ground because he thought he was done for
If Aizen was serious, he could have used Kyōka Suigetsu from start and the battle is done for
    Aizen slams

Thank you! Every online community talking about this showdown will bend over backwards to declare Aizen weaker because he prepared beforehand but as soon as I bring up Yama's own prep people fall into denial.
Yama was willing to wipe out the majority of the Gotei, including himself, just for the POSSIBLE chance to kill Aizen. Thats desperation at its highest level yet people talk like Yama had some imaginary easy win. He was hiding the whole fight prepping his oneshot technique, just hoping.

In the data books, next to Yama’s bankai, it states Aizen was never a true threat. It’s definitely implied that Yama vs Aizen(base) would body him badly which is why Aizen developed Wonderweiss. What good is hypnosis if you can’t even touch nor get anywhere near your opponent because of flames, flames hotter than the sun, turning matter into plasma. Smarter but not stronger, which is why he had to plan a deterrent for Yama.
    Nice vid as always✅💯

Not saying Yama wouldnt beat Aizen but are u sure about the gap being that big? I havent read the latest databooks but the ones from the earlier arcs showed that Aizen's stats were pretty close to Yamamoto's (Unohana too, tbh).

Altho I guess if u factor in zanpakuto powers as well, its a different story..... Aizen for all his hypnosis and power has no answer to Yama's Bankai
