It is remarkable how calm ben kept himself. But it is absolutely insane that GB gave him damage on purpose on the first safety car and then whatever happened at the end there. Idk what happened with GB at the end but i would be fuming if that happened to me but ben stayed calm some how
Ben was calm because he knew a lot of the problems were his own fault. He went wide in qualifying and put himself out of position. Then he self admitted that every move he made at the start was the wrong choice. He admitted that his setup was good for following in DRS, but not to drive down cars from far back. Then him passing GB under caution (while admittedly the game told him to) you could tell he looked like a kid that just got away with sneaking a cookie from the cookie jar and I think it is debatable if he actually would have given it back properly. And honestly, he and Gillan have both become cocky MF'ers like Max Verstappen, and just like Max, they are talented drivers, but when there is an incident involving them, it is always someone else's fault, and never their own fault.
that final result would make any driver furious. But it come with the nature of competition. Your home country will still be proud. it was amazing how much you recovered from an unfortunate start. Amazing race on your end!
Now that Jarno Opmeer isnt with Merc anymore, could you try getting him on one season of coop career mode? obviously he would slap you, but it would be funny and he would probably also help you to improve!

I’m impressed how much care goes into bens driving in this series, especially with the cars he is racing. no idea what got into GB this race.. diabolical display, kinda sucks as well for the championship that a lot of big names were out, and he’s binned a few corners before somewhere on the podium

in 38:42 he was straightening up his car while carrying that speed out of the 9 to give ben enough room (I presume is what he was doing from his pov we all had) and then at the exit of turn 9 he had a poor line to go into turn 10 (if he didn't touch the grass on the exit of turn 9) and it of either been GB would need to slow down and lose the podium positions or he would of pushed ben as close to the wall so that GB could get through turn 10 and it would cost ben to lose all the speed he would of had for turn 10 to then become 4th so either way one of them would of been out of the podium and because GB still cant get a win his common sense had left his head
