Great video! Can you possibly do a future video on Organizing Photos and how to store them? Thank you in advance.

Hi Lisa, 'Are You My Cousin' made me think of an app everybody has on their phone in Iceland. Because of its small population (it was less than 300,000 before immigration began a few years ago) it's entirely possible that the guy/girl you hook up with one weekend, or fall for at the office, could be your first or second cousin. If, however, both parties have the app, it will bleep a warning and flash up family history. Yikes!

I learned about that app when I was in Iceland last summer!

Can you put a strip of links of things to buy to store old photos? The sleeves, etc?

I have a family reunion coming up! There will be about 40 of us and I am going to ask some questions to the oldest and 2nd oldest generations. What type of questions should I ask? The eldest will be 98 and the youngest at 32

Ask about photographs. It's great if you ask ahead of time and they can bring them with them. Ask who is in the photos and ask about the occasion for the photo. I've also learned to ask about family nicknames and any name changes. I've spent a lot of time untangling things like that that other family member already knew about! For those oldest generations, ask what they remember about their grandparents and great grandparents. Those names and stories can take you quite a ways back in time.
