So many people just want to make the old trucks low and fast, but it's good to see a truck just being a truck! Save the farm trucks! Thanks for the video and good job!
Trust me I’ve been there and done that haha, this is just pushing ourselves out of the comfort zone massively and proving that you shouldn’t be scared to drive these things long distances
This just popped up in my feed and I have to say I love the old GMC mate. This feels so refreshing after watching everyone and their dog towing with a 300 or a NPS now. Also I'm ready to watch something new after all the "the new LC 2.8 auto VS 4.5" vids😅😅
with all of our old cars we love to do something that’s different and when it come to travelling Australia it was never going to be the “normal” way, we have not regretted one minute yet, thanks for your comment
look forward to following your guys journey. That truck gives your channel character. So many Aus Lappers getting around now but love how yous using a 66 instead of the typical modern luxury 300 series etc. Keep up the cool content!👍
We love to make things harder on our selves ha, no in all honesty we get the biggest kick driving this beast around and exactly that it has character, anyone can buy a brand new car and do it, thanks for watching, hope you enjoy the future vids that are to come
This just popped up in my feed and I’m SO glad it did! Thank you for posting your adventures for us!
We're so glad you enjoyed it! We have more adventures to share.

I own a 66 Chevrolet long bed 4x4 here in the states I'm excited to see you enjoying these old trucks as much as I do Thanks for sharing.
They have a charm and character that's hard to beat, right? Always great to connect with other vintage truck owners!

Gorgeous Bully, great old truck, enjoy your trip around Australia 👍
Cheers mate! And we will give Banksi a pat from you.
Love this truck! Currently building myself a 1969 GMC K20 with a 5.3 LS swap. Got myself an old canopy as well 🙏🏽 love your truck!
Oh awesome ! They’re a great truck too, one of those may be on our list to build next also

Very good 👍
Loving the pickup. How is the diesel swap working out so far?
Thanks mate, it’s working out great! It’s also easier to get diesel than petrol in remote areas of Australia, plus we love to be different.
Banksi will love the truck once she gets a few k's under her belt. How's the oil pressure in the GMC?
Yes the trucks running all good no problems yet 🤞🏼
@@RustyTruckAdventures Good to hear.
Why is everthing zoomed in so much? makes watching extremely uncomfortable.
I know! 😫 We didn't film for youtube initially, so had to make do with cropping the vertical 9:16 mobile footage we had.
Such a pretty girl, shame about the leg tattoos.
She's a professional tattoo artist mate, would be a shame if she didn't.
