really enjoyed this, I am a Florida native and lived most of my life there, worked at the 301 truck stop and lived on Maple Lane. Best thing ever...you had an Alfa parked next to you. We have an Alfa and a Mack truck. Thank you for the walk thru the show..we enjoyed it very much.

Love the t-shirt Sondra. Been tent camping for years with my family, then my daughter, now my 2 grandchildren. We camped in tents for years, but bought a pop up camper, cause I'm too old to sleep on the ground.
A Pop up is nice... gets you off the ground and keeps you dry!

We had the same experience of being diverted from one gate to another and the guys at the “duck gate” were not helpful and rather rude. We ended up along the fence in the same section as you guys were parked along 301. That is how we learned about you guys and since started following you guys.
Thank you. They've changed at the show about how RV'S can overnight. It was a little cumbersome but the staff was great and it worked out! Glad you made it!

Hey guys.. Thank you for the information and the videos... I have to say with all the changes I do not believe I will be going to the Tampa show with our rig.. Sounds like you had a hard time with finding the right entrance... Once there it was nice.. however it seemed like too much of a Hassle to get it in there... I hope they start giving the large units like the HDTs a designated spot... Thanks again for the videos and you guys stay safe in your travels..J&A 🙋♀️🙋♂️
Thanks J&A...it was an adventure. I think they place a sign on the highway letting you know which entrance for RV's but it's not super clear and a few of the staff are temps and didn't know some details. This may be our last one but there are some good changes so we'll see. You definitely have to plan it. Thanks for watching. Safe travels.

We are wintering at The Resort At Canopy Oaks witch is 15 miles East of Lake Wales and drove to the show 2 days. It’s about 1:15 each way but very doable.
That's really not too bad. If you time it right then traffic is moving but still the Tampa RV show only comes around once a year so we think it's worth it. It's always nice to get home every night. Hope you had a good time. Thanks for the comment.
This was my first time there, (didn’t get to see y’all) you can still use two day printed and only use it once and hand it to someone else to use the other QR code. As I was going out the gate Saturday , a guy asked me if I needed a ticket. He said he and his wife felt like they saw what they wanted and weren’t going back Sunday. So I got the tickets and I used one and gave the other away.
That's true but in years past ALL the tickets were printed. With online sales, there are way fewer... but I like the online change overall. That's great you got some extra tickets and gave away the unused one. Nice.

I learned years ago people really hate it when things stay the same and get boring, also they hate when you change anything because it was easier and you should have left it the same. Stay safe and healthy guys.

Sondra, Wow 27 acres to look at different rigs. My old knees won't take that. Do they have scooters, or little buggy's you can rent?
I know when we went to ASDI in Las Vegas we where ten years younger and I was wiped out and it differently need to break each night.

Hey Miles- We were corporate America type of white collar workers. I was in Logistics and Sondra was in worldwide sales with a EE degree. Always loved camping and our corporate transfers kept us on the move so it was easy to purge for fulltime RV living. We enjoy the freedom of the road, love travel days and discovering What's Next. Glad you're along on the journey. 😎

Love your video's. I was wondering what braking system you have on the Jeep when towing and whether or not you like it?
Hi, Kevin and thanks for the comments. It's Blue Ox 6K lbs tow bar system. We like it and seems to do well. You can switch it on or off and it's adjustable. Easy to hook up. 🪝

Hey guys, how are ya doing!?! You made a statement near the end of the video. "If we could afford it I'd get those valid slides on a Prevost shell" Does that mean you'd trade in the hdt/5th wheel life for Class A Diesel life? I'm asking because I just recently found your channel and I'm really enjoying it but more importantly this coming year I'm going to make the leap into the incredible Nomadic lifestyle. My biggest question I haven't answered yet is what class am I entering in at. Be safe and thanks in advance for considering my question and answering back.
Great question, Scott. I really like the slides on the Prevost. I'd keep our setup but get the slides! Lol. You have to decide on your "mission profile" to determine your type of RV. A Class A motorhome is the most accepted and easiest form of RV travel. An HDT towing a 5th wheel is on the other end of the spectrum. All have their pros and cons. Thanks for watching the channel. 😁

Walter's gate , sounds like a bucket of steam or left handed wrench. I guess they were trying to keep you circling until you ran out of fuel and that's your camping spot
LOL...I think they weren't sure themselves and just called it anything they could think of at the time. It was like "where's waldo" in real life...in a big truck!
Asking , We are looking at a 48 foot Luxe rig with a Volvo
tractor carrying a Jeep lengthwise on it??? What the length allowed on road ???
Hey Jennifer, in most states the legal limit is 65 feet. RV's skirt a "grey" area but on STAA roads the legal limit does vary up to "unlimited" in some western states. Careful with getting your bed too long and your hitch too far behind your axles. Some have experienced an increased "tail waggle" on the trailer. If you double tow, it is allowed in most western states but be careful as you cross the Mississippi River since the states start to vary in their regulations. Florida doesn't allow double towing but lots of people get by. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
