I disagree, not awful at all, they keep sounding amazing live. All artists go through the same situation at different ages, normally they have to adjust the tone of the songs so the vocalist can keep performing accordingly. But Dave has been pretty consistent with his voice for the past 22 years or so... in many ways he has tried different things he never did when he was younger, he has gotten better.

I used to love this band, but they sound awful. Dave Gahan had such a wonderful voice at a younger age.
