this series (also been watching on pb and jeff) has been an absolute blast, so much so that i bought the game and have been having sleepovers with college friends that we used to have back when 6 came out. cant wait for more guys, glad you're having so much fun!
Pbg was like a tragic greek character. He talked about how good he was going to do. And he really succeeded at the beginning, but then he started to fail and in the end he came last. His hubris really got him. It was amazing to watch! Also Ms. Editor was doing amazing work!
Little tip for "Timing is Money" If you jump as soon as you can and ground pound at the apex of your jump, you'll get the same result every time (which is actually how Shane got so much, cause he kept hitting 3's). If you hit the 5 coins and use this, it'll be tough to stop you from buying things

You can have a max of 4 allies in both Mario Party and Partner party! In Partner party, if you pick up a 5th; you'll have to abandon one of your allies!
I think it should place the player somewhere between 3 - 10 spaces before the star so there's still a chance you won't get it if you get a bad roll or have no allies.

Luigi's still in the lead (well, was) with that steal unaware that his brother puts his carefully-crafted plan into action, swiping the lead. Wario does not have any luck while the other two contestants battle for second place.
there is an item in sonic shuffle that sends you next to the star too, but because you have to land on the spot for it to count it doesn't make that item as OP.

I'm torn between having the allies in Super Mario Party, an wish it was an option that you could turn them on or off. After playing SMP I can see how they add to the game but also break it. Like it would be nice to have the option to just get their dice block as a reward and not the whole character tagging along as well. but if you do choose to have them tag along it would be cool if like in star rush if you could steal an ally from another player. so far I have yet to come across a way to do so and I'm pretty sure its not a feature in this game.
One thing about the Gold Pipe is that it's too OP. You could just keep running down to that corner stocking up on Pipes and that kinda takes the fun out of it.
Well, you still have to pay for the star, and the gold pipe cost 10 coins. You really can’t afford to waste turns grinding for gold pipes so if you get one you should use it as soon as you have enough coins for a star.
if they are great at the minigames this becomes a valid strategy. its very easy to loop around to the shop and there isn't anything negative to land on in that specific area but a lot of good things most notably an ally space. so theoretically you could get multiple gold pipes and allies and then dominate the rest of the game
