    Hello Sir I need Help
    I am new to Catia V5
    Problem is I got step file from somewher to practice mold design on CATIA v5 and the part is Already rotated in three Axies So how to align part according to datum planes in part Design.

      You can use transformation axis to axis type. Or other way is define a new axis system your imported part only and hide the previous axis system or planes.

      @@mastertheskillls I already tried this way But After done this when I save part in step again it takes its old Axies.

      @@surajprakash3264 if you will save it in neutral format like STEP or IGES, axis system will definitely disturb. It will never remain same but if you use .CATPart format, it will be remain as it is

      @@mastertheskillls sir If we send file to customer we have converte the file step or other formats . When they open part it will be at an angle position . So what is the solution of it

      Customer has to define the new part origin to properly open it from IGES or STP format. There is no other option.
