Dude, this guy was one HELL of a vocalist!! Probably still is, of course, but as we get older, our vocals tend to wane over the years.. NO PLACE FOR DISGRACE, that's the BEST FLOTSAM & JETSAM ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!
He’s still the best in the game for my money. His voice has definitely aged a bit but he’s still way better than whoever is the next guy. Check out some of the newer stuff starting with The Cold and go forward. Most underrated band of all time.
@@machinehead3413 Bro! They're legit! Have you heard the newest single, I Am The Weapon? Pretty good stuff, and their musical inclination just grows and grows. I actually just bought a few of their newest albums. I LOVE THESE GUYS! Flotsam & Jetsam and Death Angel JAM! SODOM IS KING OF THRASH! I will say this: they NEVER SHOULD HAVE TOUCHED NO PLACE FOR DISGRACE.. They re recorded it and it ain't the same, they slowed it down a half step, etc... I hate that remake. Besides that, I love F&J!
I have. Played it on repeat for over an hour the day it came out. Mindblowing that a band that has been around for almost 40 years is doing their best work this late in their career. Just got the logo tattooed on my forearm in February.
@@machinehead3413 NPFD Is just a MASTERPIECE in its own right! I will never forget, first stuff I ever heard from F&J was from... No Place For Disgrace.. I have loved them since then, way even more so now! Flotsam & Jetsam literally have nothing but solid albums! I think all but TWO are GREAT albums. You're right, it a mind-blowing greatness that has been bestowed upon us! I REALLY have been digging F&J, Death Angel, Raven, Sodom, High On Fire. All of these bands have had GREAT albums last several years!
Yeah man, No Place For Disgrace is their best album (2nd album). Their first album was pretty good too (Doomsday For The Deceiver). They started shifting in their music and sound by their 3rd album, unfortunately. I still dig some of their other albums, but THIS TAKES THE CAKE 🍰
I think this show happened after F & J went to The Channel Club in S Boston? It was the 1st time & unfortunately the last time I ever got the chance to see them play live! Great Memories!!
I was at both! The NY show at The Ritz was a few days before this one. I still have my tickets so this show at Toad's Place was Tuesday 7/17/90, and the show at The Ritz was Saturday 7/14/90. FTD!! \m/
I was at this show....33 years ago from today! I just posted a pic of my ticket stub on Facebook. FTD!! \m/

Their 2 best songs ever
This an excellent recording by the way
This album is why I am here, 2020

This should have 500,000 views!
This bass player was their best.
Man love you guys!No place is in my top ten list!
Good‘ol‘times 🍻
Great quality! tearing it up!
F&J are #5 on the big 4 list in my opinion, just freaking amazing, and have only gotten better!
I’d put them 4th. I love Anthrax but these guys are way better. Just not nearly as well known.
@machinehead3413 Way underrated for sure.

We were hauling ass lol
Almost true double-time speed!
🤘🤘🤘
A vocals are insane music killer!!!!!
They sort of became a studio band after this time, wish they would of played live more often
Saw them on this tour with Prong. Eric A.K. had throat problems so Tommy Victor sang his set. A bummer and killer at the same time.
this is what thrash should be... RAW. FAST.
Sick!
Drummer is sick!
was NY show before or after this one?

What's the second song?
Really? 🤨
Why the F is this band so underrated? Bad Marketing team?
Lost in the many good bands of the time
they are the second wave of thrash metal after the success of the big 4, they had to compete with hundreds of new bands that came
