@@dela1968 your tacks are coming along. I really like tacks. I they are under rated. Been starting to plane into mine and working on speed of the fast tack movement. Except when I have a camera to reach up and re adjust 😂
@@gusthunterwindsurfing I have off and on days with my tacks. Some days are bad, some good. Yes tacks are under rated. You don't loose upwind ground with them when done right.
So do you like that board better than the other large free ride boards you've ridden? If so why. It has good reputation for speed and chop smoothing with it's deep V
@@KW2774 different board for different conditions. This is mid range wind, where my larger board is for lighter winds. And yes the v bottom will make getting through chop smoother. Jibes and tacks feel solid. I’m really happy thus far. Need to ride it in more wind and chop for a better review though.
I can see your skills improved a lot.. Also your video, s but try some other angles from the front of the boom or even the helmet. Please secure your 360 whit a Little Line if you Arent already had..
Thanks! Yeah I should mix it up rather than a whole session/video in just a single Camera Mount location. Good point. I am going to add some music too, next time around as well. I think I have figured that out to use some free stuff on YT. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
For just cutting thru chop for back and forth freeride, I would say the Fox. It has significant V in the front. Even noticeable in flat water and how it feels as you take off planing compared to a board with less or no V in it. Just my opinion at the moment. I have only had one good session on the Fox since I got it.
GoodTimes !!

Glad you like the new board. The camera view is great. It's good to see how you move around the board.

Jake I know one's free ride and the other's FSW, but which do you think handles chop better, the Fox or the 135 Starboard Kode?
