I had the same issues. With the receivers I purchased on Amazon. I guess the ones that are on Amazon are for the older model X9. I purchased X9s receivers on AliExpress and they have been working perfect. But I read you have an update soon. I hope you have a fix
Well that's a bummer you got a bad unit for that price. Have you tried doing the throttle calibration swing when it's blinking just to see if it does anything more? Have a good weekend
I’ve been round and round with Wfly over this issue. According to them “ receives with the “Wfly” stickers will require the firmware “upgrade”. When you buy a X9S the receiver will have a sticker on the side saying “NEW”. I’ve tried it until so many times to “upgrade” and combinations I gave up. I can get them to work after doing the upgrade as long as you don’t turn off the receiver. After doing so I get what looks to be a purple blinking light and that color is not listed in the instructions. This radio will be a dedicated one model system until Wfly starts producing a receiver compatible with the X9S.
I have this transmitter also and my experience is that you have the older version of the 9ch receiver. The new version has a sticker on it that says new. I have tried everywhere to find a new receiver and all they have is the 4ch. Which work great just not all the bells and whistles. You can upload a version of the old x9 to the x9s which will allow you to use the old receivers but not the new ones. I don't know why they would release a good transmitter like the x9s and not have any receivers for it. Anyway that's what I've figured out
Thank you my Obie one!! You are full of knowledge, and I appreciate everything you have helped me with!!

Exactly. The X9S is a killer radio. Shame Wfly can’t send out the receivers ready to go. I said screw it and bought a Flysky Noble Pro+.
