I've been working on a new build using Compound Bow and Combat boots, been treating it like a weapon damage gun with slight elemental subs using lonewolf set. hit's 140k dps sustained with canine. Important part is getting more than 1 arrow on your Xbow. Im going to test it next with a full Shelterer set. It has alot of potential using combat boots.

I really like how you provide the math and matching in-game footage to back things up (it helped me a lot to understand Shrapnel key items for example). Two questions on stuff you didn't go in depth on: 1. you mentioned BBQ best for burn dot, with the increased consistency of burn stack application via explosion did you math/test that Hardy+keep half stacks mod can't compete overall? or were you solely focusing on the dot component, or going off gut feeling/pre-patch wisdom? 2.Did you test the Invincible Sun? I assume Pyro Dino is in the vid as it's stronger, but I haven't seen much discussion on the Sun in general.
sun is terrible compared to dino, all it does is explode every 3 seconds and give little damage increase. dino gives insane damage. hardy will give you way less dps
What about 3 Shelter pieces + 2 Blackstone + BBQ gloves? That's what I have currently in the winter scenario 🤔 and I've also been using the tentacle deviation that gives bonus status damage, didn't know Dino was good 😅
I LOVED this gun in s1 but it was so mid compared to all other builds, so I gave up as an unrequited love. I've been running it since the 20th and the damage is impressive. I'm so glad it's good now, the little pyro in me is overjoyed.
Can you rework build Scor Shrapnel? I found new thing that this gun cook very good for Gas helmet. That i test this dmg higher than Berret (90k dps(Gas), 80k dps( Berret) without devient, food buff ... and the bullet just steel ammo). Additional, fatefull strike for berret cook still good even higher for some special conditions and the mod that i feel that better than Momentum up. I think you need to try for that❤❤❤

What would the impact be of running this build with the m416 frost vortex build?? Pulling enemies into the main mob with vortex, alternating between blowing them up for DoT and smacking with ice crystals? The fact that you get these on hit now.. thoughts on mixing?
What do you think about the Burn suffix on Flame Resonance instead of Talent for the burn trigger? I was able to get a mod with 15% burn trigger. Not worth?
Is the unstable jaws viable in pve compared to all the builds you are showing ? All these numbers seems insane 😮 is it possible for jaws pistol achieve such dmg?

Only 2 people i look for build guides, Doomeris for everything else, Anestic for jaws build. That's it. Soo many bullshits showing 500k dps, 800k dps on their dummy but doing same damage when they are killing bosses as every other players
@@Doomeris Still we are not in fortess or fast gunner, they buff only applies if we are in fortress so using the axe. Or the description is just bad. while in fortress warfare or fast gunner weakspot dmg 40% or 20% for bulls eye but only in that 2 effect.

I used it in PvP as well, seems to be working alright in close range and mid range fights, using full crit burn build
works against noobs, but not against stacked players

anything works, but just remember if you use 2 different key guns the damage won't be optimal.

i don't show dummy damage. numbers are fake and inflated. you can see the max damage on bosses. :)
Can you revisit this build on the 16th? They'll be nerfing the Pyro Dino... Compare it to other builds then, I love LMGs and I hope this stays good.
there's nothing to revisit. use the pyro dino with the same mods. :) pyro dino nerf wont change anything, nothing will change.

jaws can do 2x higher damage than this.

JAWS is a good starter build because it’s really forgiving. Even without the right mods I can solo everything except LEO labs with zero brain cells.

Lucky Rabbit Hide (Mask) works for most elemental, including hybrid ones like corrosion and jaws?

So hardy glove remove ur stack and cause explosion. And the weapon mod makes removing stacks halved

Once you figured out the mechanics it is the most boring boss of all. You just run in circles waiting for the dmg phases
