I've been keeping frizzles for the last two years. They're not bad egg layers, don't give much meat but are quite hardy . I've got a flock of on and off 30 different breed birds, we've been through coccidiosis and severe breathing illness but not a single frizzle ever got sick !!! They make really good mums when they decide to.... There was one frazzle though, beautiful but bullied severely by the rest ... had to keep her separately, unfortunately she succumbed to the first serious cold being alone ....
I have 4 and I just love them I have had 2 of them for a year and 2 of them are babies that one hatched they are about 3 months now and are so beautiful.
@@wandawilliams2397 this means it Has to be part Aricana or Americana. The green/blue egg shell traits. The coloring of the legs could be from such as a silky “black skin & organs. Or perhaps part Polish they tend to have greenish bluish grey feet.
I bought 3 silkie chicks only to find out weeks later they were crossed with frizzles. They look great
I just adopted my first frizzle chick and love her! I'm hoping that one day I'll get more from her since I love to hatch eggs in my incubator. :)

Technically the frizzle isn't a breed, it's a genetic mutation much like polydactylism in cats.
Just got 5 baby frizzles ... eager to see how they turn out!
